I disagree with one and two but between those two shows, the Flintstones were far more influential in the medium.
Along with the multiple Emmys it was nominated for, it's considered to be the first adult cartoon.
While it and of itself is considered q parody of the Honeymooners, it became the inspiration for slice of life, over the top sitcoms like Married with Children, Modern Family, and Family Guy, to name a few.
It was also the first cartoon to have corporate sponsorship. The franchise has yet to have a modern adaptation but it's influence can not be denied.

Um no. Here is the proper list:

4. Jabberjaw
5. Super Friends
6. Speed Buggy
7. Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels
8. Hong Kong Phooey
9. The Blue Falcon and Dynomutt
10. Jetsons
Honorable mention The Pebbles and Bam Bam Show (Schleprock anyone.

I admire the work put into H&B cartoons. Yeah, the animation is stiff in some spots, and it's the same formula in a lot of cases. Though that could all be blamed from a shift from 'making cartoons for the movie theater' to 'Making a weekly episodic series for television'.
I'm just disappointed that the same two shows have been remade over and over again for about every generation; its almost an insult.

My favorites were Hong Kong Phooey, Scooby Doo, Snagglepuss, Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines and Superfriends. These are the five I actively remember watching religiously as a kid (mostly reruns in mid 80's) they didn't cause an issue in the household. If my gram was watching us there was no Tom and Jerry allowed XDDD

Jonny Quest should've ranked #1. It was a far better and Serious animated than most seen these days.
Jonny Quest, Wacky Races (which helped inspire The Cannonball Run films, and Season 1 of Super Friends (with Wendy & Marvin) were the best cited on this list. Sealab 2020 should've been added as well.

Unpopular opinion:
I like the Banana Splits Adventure Hour
and I actually like it's horror film.
Mostly because I hadn't watched the show as a child, so I didn't feel like my childhood had just been ruined. I'd never even heard of the show until I watched the horror movie

226: Hannah Barbera’s number one classic is Scooby-Doo. It became a fan favorite since 1969.
It got a huge evolution throughout the years. Everyone can agree that the 2010 animated show of Scooby-Doo is the best. Got multiple live action movies and a lot of animated movies

I love all Hanna Barbera cartoons. Johnny Quest had another series New Adventures. Hong Kong Phooey is great love the theme. YT has a 10 minute Hong Kong Phooey short. The Wacky Races spun off the shows Dick Dastardly and the Flying and The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.

229: I didn’t know they did 2021’s Tom and Jerry. That’s always been my favorite since I was a kid. Couldn’t stop watching it.
At that time, I didn’t know it got awards and got parodied as The Itchy and Scratchy Show on The Simpsons

As a 40 yr old woman who literally grew up watching all of these cartoons I've always been curious about two things 1 why was smurfette the only female and 2: was vanity Smurf extremely conceited or just plain gay

Hanna-Barbera was truly the best at cartoons. There was even a Hanna-Barbera produced version of The Count of Monte Cristo. And some of the best 90s era Cartoon Network cartoons were also produced by Hanna-Barbera.

Other family Hanna Barbera shows that needs more recognition like midnight patrol adventures in the dream zone, fantastic Max, especially the canceled Hannah Barbera production called Duffy dozen

I've watched The Yogi Bear Show, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You, The Smurfs, Tom and Jerry, and The Flintstones. They're all great shows! I'd love to see the others on this list! They seem great!

Honorable mention up from the depths, 30 stories high, breathes fire, his head in the sky. GODZILLA! Was it a shining moment for the franchise No but watching it as a kid I was thoroughly entertained.

I recall the Hanna was in the process of making The Three Stooges into a cartoon but hardly any episodes aired and it didn’t become popular enough. Luckily I managed to watch one episode.

Watching Tom & Jerry is like transporting in time to my childhood!
There were several other really good HB cartoons that were part of the Cartoon Express. Another massive part of my childhood.

reply

Scooby Doo should have been number one. The cartoon been around for almost 55 years, and I betcha you they're still not through. They probably putting together another Scooby-Doo movie
reply

It has been proven that Tom & Jerry has been the most successful show. Even above Scooby-Doo and the Flintstones. Who have ever thought Tom & Jerry were made especially for deaf people.
