Netflix has a documentary about the Eliza Lam story that's really interesting! One of the things that has fascinated me is the length of time the elevator doors stayed open! Having lived in apartment buildings most of my 60 years, I've not come across any elevator in ANY building (not just apartment buildings) where the doors stay open that long without a reason. There's 4 scenarios where this could happen.
#1 - the elevator door is broken.
#2 - someone on the inside is pressing 'door open'.
#3 - someone on the outside of elevator is pushing the button preventing the doors from closing.
#4 - the elevator is on 'service' where someone has inserted a key and turned to keep the door open. To close the doors under this condition, one has to press and hold the 'door closed' button until the elevator has moved then they can release their finger and the elevator will stop on requested floor without any stops.
I admit that my experiences with elevators is limited to Ontario . However, I believe that the majority of elevators for public use work pretty much the same way around the world. I don't know why this aspect of Eliza Lam's disappearance interests me so much but it does. For me, it makes things even more mysterious. If anyone wants to learn more about the mystery surrounding Eliza Lam I would highly recommend watching the Netflix doc The Mystery at Hotel Cecil (something to that effect.

Leave Elisa Lam alone. There is no mystery. The poor girl was ill, her family confirmed that her bizarre behavior was consistent with how she behaved when off her meds, she did not close the lid (the janitor who found her did, she was undressed due to paradoxical undressing (when a person experiences hypothermia their blood gathers in their torso to protect their organs which makes the victim feel too hot and in this state they undress, and the Cecil Hotel is/was a shit hole so getting onto the roof would not have been difficult. Let this tragedy and poor girl rest, and allow her family to move on.

No mystery with Elisa Lam and the elevator. She had major mental illness issues and was not taking her medications. She became really paranoid as a result and had hallucinations. I live in the city she is from and our local news covered the story in depth. Her family spoke up and told us about Elisa’s mental health issues and her behaviours when she was not taking her meds. The caretaker of the hotel put the lid on after finding her in the tank.

Elisa Lam wasn’t murdered, she had mental issues and went off her meds. She went on a trip to LA and was writing her family discussing stopping her medication in her letters. Her family told her that she needed to get back on her meds but she said was trying to wean herself off of them.
During a manic /psychotic episode because of her not taking her meds, She climbed onto the roof and either fell or jumped the water tank and couldn't get out.

The porpoise grave! I actually learned alot about that from Ask A Mortician. Heres the summary of why its most likely there: instead of offering it to the pope/the queen of englans; someone mostly likely buried it to keep to themselves since porpoise is a delicacy. Tho im pretty sure preparing it is a group effort, or a long one, its been buried to forget about it or spitfully never offer it to their leader. Mostly likely both

I'd say Madeleine McCann's parents are hiding the fact that their daughter wandered outside her family's holiday apartment via the unlocked patio door looking for them. So as soon as Kate discovers her precious Madeleine is not sleeping in her bed, she opens the bedroom window to make her daughter's wandering off look like an abduction in order to avoid being prosecuted for child neglect.

I agree with the viewer about the Kyron Horman case. As a former Portland resident at the time of his disappearance it was major news then petered out much like the Ashley Pond and Miranda Gadis murders. Glad to see Mojo still bringing light to Kyron Horman, as well as Forest Grove howls which I have been a witness to as well

I know no one will have the luxury of seeing how our story ends but it drives me crazy that I won’t ever know. It’s almost like starting an interesting game or movie and having a power cut 30 mins before it finishes. I just can’t accept it all I want to know is where we came from and what our purpose is if there even is one

I got stoned while watching this and at first was confused about how they had 21 feet on the beach when feet come in sets of 2. then I thought about how they could have 21 completely random feet, 10 pairs of feet and one random, or 7 pairs of feet and 7 randomthe possibilities are endless and now I’m just pissed off

11: 55 If there was evidence of preservation and the head itself was embalmed, I would think the eyes being replaced with bouncy balls is more in line with said preservation efforts rather than black market organ trade. Other than corneal transplants, eyes are not feasibly transplanted.

As someone with bipolar I disagree with the Elisa lam quote that bipolar wouldn't make her act that way in the elevator. Yes it 100% would, if like me she had bipolar type1 and suffered psychosis, paranoia is an extremely common symptom. (Just thought the quote was ignorant and ill informed)

I’ll never apologise for the fact that I think the McCann parents are absolutely terrible parents who through their own selfishness, put their very small children, in danger. They deserve to live with guilt.
