Well, they are a lot of good fantasy movies in this list but I do remember a few.
One I remember as a child was called the land of far far away. I believe it was a British movie
Other ones are and they might be more appreciated today
NeverEnding story part 1 and part 2. There is a part 3 which has Jack Black playing the villain characters
The barbarians- which has two twin brother playing the main roles. Both of them were bodybuilders and the movie was coming off of Conan the barbarian.
Time bandits
The seeker, into darkness
Troll in Central Park
Cabin boy
Warriors of virtue
Page master
wizards 1977
Fire and ice
Return to Oz
The monkey King / journey to the West franchise (ps. What are the top pics from this franchise) the Lost empire, the forbidden Kingdom
Just to name some I can think of.

The Neverending Story, Time Bandits, Willow, Labyrinth, Cocoon, The Green Mile and perhaps Coralline. Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest and if we're okay with with some adult fare, then you must add such as The Fisher King, Conan the Barbarian, Brazil and Pan's Labyrinth
I would have taken Dragonslayer off the top 20 list (Sorry kids, Dina Meyer was horribly miscast. She had yet to develop her acting chops, and the script was clunky and full of overrated sap) but don't kill me yet, you can add two more Dennis Quaid films that hebwas in two far better movies in this category: Inner Space and (okay, it's a SciFi) Enemy Mine. So Dragonslayer should have been moved into the next 20 after those two to make room for such great fantasy movies I've listed here. (Charlotte's Web would have added a nice touch)

Isn't Conan well known It has Schwarzenegger in it! I actually watched the sequel first.
6: 59 I saw parts of this at school but I was able to watch the whole movie at my uncle's place.
12: 03 I saw this a long time ago. I want to see it again. I knew Robin Williams was in this.
I heard about The Last Unicorn from a random video and got to watch it later.
I don't think I saw Legend as a kid. My dad liked the villain. He is Tim Curry after all. We are all animals my lady. Tom Cruise is also in it. Damn he looks young in this one.
I saw Black Cauldron because my grandma had it. I did not realize it was a cult film.
Dark Crystal is my childhood. No one seems to talk about Dark Crystal. Honest Trailer doesn't seem to know about it. CinemaSins is one of the few people who do.

I would have given honorable mentions to The Barbarians (1987) and Yor, the Hunter From the Future (1983.
The Barbarians starred Peter and David Paul, real-life fraternal twins with some serious muscles. They had the kind of chemistry that's hard to fake, and the film doesn't bother trying to be anything more than the lightweight romp that it is. which is actually a HIGHLY welcome antidote to the heavy-handed dreck that's become all too common of late.
Yor, meanwhile, is one of those films that just has to be seen in its entirety to be believed. So bad it's good is an understatement.

The Last Unicorn touches on a subject not many choose to touch upon, that one of the most tragic things for the Unicorn is that she had the feelings and memories of being human to include love to stay with her for the rest of her lifespan, whiles she would watch the world around her age away, those she called friends and love grow old and then to dust while she remained untouched by time.
In the end all that would remain of would exist in her memory, strange feelings attached to memories that ache and yet she can; t not treasure to recall centuries on.

Underrated is an underrated notion. I’ve only heard of about half of these and seen maybe a quarter of them. Those that I have seen, I’m pleased to see here on this list, especially the Top 4. I always enjoyed the 2 Disneys and my kids rather enjoyed them as well, especially The Black Caldron.
One that I would have added though I’ll admit it’s more of a miniseries than a movie, is The Hogfather based off Terry Prachett’s Discworld series. English fantasy comedy I believe is rather underrated.

How is Labyrinth not on this list Legend and Labyrinth are 2 of the absolute best classics from that time that still hold up today. I think Legend is the better film because Tim Curry is unmatched in the villain department and the make up in that film are unmatched.
Solomon Kane is an overlooked gem that got no theater release. The mirror demons are wonderfully terrifying.
2 kids fantasy/childrens/horror films that are never brought up are Little Monsters and The Monster Squad

By the Gods, what has happened to me Having been born in the 70's, EVERY movie you have listed from the 70's to the 90's I either saw in the theater, have on DVD, or both. Then. nothing after 2000. The 3 movies you listed from then I haven't even heard of before. Did I get old I still play D&D with friends and love fantasy movies and yet here I am having missed out on these gems. Thank you for this list. I'll look up those 3 movies and give them a well deserved view.

Deathstalker two. Those involved in making it decided to just have fun instead. And it works. Cheap fantasies from that era are usually fun because they're rubbish. But this film is fun because it's fun. It does have one of the best bits of wordplay in a film ever as well. And the moment where he refuses to kill the defeated wrestler is a great little scene because it adds so much to him as a character and John Terlewsky knocks it out of the park acting wise.

1: 30 I love this movie!
Story time! Our family went to see this when it was in theaters. Mom and dad. Me, my younger sister, and my baby brother who was 7 at the time. We were all captivated by the story, especially him! And then the final fight scene came, with the bishop of Aquila trying to kill off our heroine.
Navarre: pins the bishop with his sword
My brother: Holy crap that sword went right through him!
Entire theatre audience:

The Dark crystal
Bedknobs and broomsticks
Top 3 fav Fantasy movies
I still get chills when Molly grew says to the unicorn how dare you come to me now when I'm like this
I've been watching that movie my whole life and I will never tire of it and you are correct the score by America is just fantastic
Also, my MomMom looks just like Angela Lansbury so I have an extreme affinity for that movie as well

Lady hawke is one of my all time favorites.
The witches great movie too.
The last unicorn. Gave me nightmares way back when. Still good stuff.
How the heck is stardust on this list. It’s a movie.
Bedknobs and broomsticks was one of my childhood favorites singing its songs.
Legend very well written.
Dark crystal was good but was too dark for me to watch repeatedly over my lifetime.

I grew up watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks at least once a week. The good old days of VHS saving movies from TV. The ending with the magical army of empty armor was always my favorite part.
And I liked the Black Cauldron in theaters but was frustrated when it never seemed to get a home release. Best I had was a story book with art that retold the first half of the movie.

I've seen all but three of these, and most of them are absolute favorites of mine. So many great movies on this list. It's hard to see them as underrated, since many these were big films in my social circles (gamer/SF nerd/fantasy fan) when I was growing up.
I just wish the voiceover person had spent more time learning how to pronounce the words. Conan the Simmereein Bah.

Excalibur, to me is the TOP TIER King Arthur movie to date! No other movie based off his legend has even come close to matching it in terms of cast, music quality, cinematography or story. I love Sword in the Stone, the classic Knights of the Round Table from the 50s, Monty Python's Holy Grail and even The Kid Who Would Be King.
But Excalibur will always be No. 1

Angelica Huston is a living treasure. She was BORN to be Morticia Addams, just as Christina Ricci was to be Wednesday.
I adore Terry Gilliiam's films, with Munchausen being tied with Doctor Parnassus for my favourites of his.
In terms of fantasy films overall, Willow, Legend, and Stardust win for me.

What does it say of my childhood if I saw all of these IN THE THEATER when they were released (well, not number #17 from 2009. as well as all the others from the 2010s)
That I was very much a nerd from the beginning. Thank God nerds came to rule in the end. Take that my school-time bullies.

Mia Sara in Legend really had a hard time, as she wasn't used to the hours nor the depth of the character. If you see her engaging with the Unicorn, her eyes looked like she hadn't slept in days. There was also a fire that put their lives in danger.
Imo Krull wasn't that great.

I think the Chronicles of Narnia sequels are underrated. People complained how Prince Caspian deviated from the book too much, but I still think the stuff they added were fine additions. And it had great action and costume designs.
And yeah, the Dark Crystal is a master-piece.
