Jeepers Creepers (2001)
In the middle of a road trip, a brother and sister came across an aggressive hothead who had a bad case of road rage. After following the mysterious man, the two witness him drop a body into a pipe. Rather than do the sensible thing and call the police, the brother, Darry, decided it was a good idea to take matters into his own hands and explore what was in the pipe. How bad was this decision Darry’s sister breaks the fourth wall to explicitly warn him that this was like something out of a horror movie. This failure to recognize obvious red flags ended up sealing Darry’s fate.

21: 45 The whole point of the Purge movies is that The Purge increases economic productivity line is BS in the universe.
It's just a cover for the rich political elite to sit back and let poorest members of society kill each other, when they're not sending in actual nazi kill squads to execute the people they see as a burden.
It's a commentary on how bigoted politicians will cover-up their horrible actions with flowery language.

How about living in anything other than a street legal race vehicle If it looks stock from the outside, they won't expect it to go from 55 miles per hour to 120 miles per hour faster than their vehicle can go from 55 miles per hour to 70 miles per hour. If I know one thing, it's that a fast car is better than human legs any time.

My pet hate is when the protagonist/victim doesn't make 100% sure through whatever method it necessary to ensure that the killer/creature/antagonist is well & truly dead. And worse still, when they do a half-assed job then turn their back on the killer/creature/antagonist & wonder why they got killed anyway.

As much as & everyone loved John Hurt. his character Kane is the reason why there were 4 (soon to be 5) Alien films. When on an Alien planet with strange eggs in front of you, if you see one of those eggs open in front of you, what do you do Don't go near the egg.
Kane He stuck his face right into it.

Technically in Midsommar Mark didn't get himself killed. They were gonna kill him anyway. That's literally why he was brought there. Peeing on the tree definitely didn't work in his favor but he had no way of knowing that tree was important to them. He could've been a little more apologetic about it though

You know. The Purge movies, when you think about it. Are kinda what many cities, which are run by Democrats, are, basically, becoming like when you think about it.
Heck. They let murderers go out on bail all the time nowadays. I guess this franchise was foreshadowing. Good on them.

Dumb mistake and an actual experience a friend of mine had in real life: hide in a closet, pick up cell phone and dial 911 for help then realize the light of the phone and the sound of the dial tones are giving away my hiding spot to the intruders or monsters in the house!

Switch going after the dog with trusting Steve to man the door, Nicole going after chips only got one person killed and they needed to go to the gun store anyways for weapons and ammunition. Trusting Steve was what got most of the other survivors (Steve included) killed

The Number 14 pick is what earned Vickers' death the Dull Machete for lamest kill when James A Janisse covered Prometheus on Kill Count. You know a decision is dumb when the host of a show that counts off kills in horror movies gives such an award to a particular kill.

For me, the two dumbest was Prometheus, where the biologist tries to pat an alien snake monster, and Alien Covenant where the captain places his head over some scary looking alien thing at the behest of an obviously dodgy android.

13: 40 People seems fixated on this scene while I still think that the dumbest decision in this movie was the guy poking the freaking proto-facehugger like it wasn't displaying Cobra-like agressive behaviors.

I'm sorry, but the ending to The Mist is the funniest ending to a movie I've ever seen. I'm not saying its not a sad, heartbreaking ending. It is, but it's just a hilarious movie ending

Nope, sorry. Im going after my dog. He is my service dog and quite frankly in a zombie apocalypse, the only one I would trust. I would never let him be used like that or leave him behind.

the purge:
-turning off your security system
-letting strangers in when you know they can now legally kill you
-splitting up
-no guns in your house
-RUNNING UP THE STAIRS!

Kinda unfair to be adding Saw II and Addison in this list - she had been breathing in a deadly nerve agent for an hour and she couldn’t even think straight or assess the situation.

Nah, The Mist deserved Number 1 spot more. its incredible how some minutes of patience can influence your entire life. Truly one of the best twists in horror history.
