I'm not saying anything I have felt at work compared AT ALL to what they felt and endured at Nick. I do want to say, I fully understand no one wanting to say anything in fear of being fired. Every job that I worked at where I stood up and stood my ground, I got fired, even when I knew so many people felt the same way. Just no one would say anything or stand with me.
I feel if everyone stood up at the same time Dan might have been dealt with, but everyone or most felt isolated, they didn't feel anyone would stand with them, allowed the problem to continue. But I feel it all the actors, all the writers, all the support staff and everyone else stood up, it might have been dealt with.
I do 100% understand why that never happened. A lot of people felt like it was just happening to them, that they didn't have a support team or that anyone was going through the same experiences.

Don’t get me wrong. I do like watching Dan Schneiders shows that he created, but from what I’ve learned from watching quiet on the sad the dark side of kids TV he was a creep and he was so evil to what he did to his childhood stars. I grew up watching his shows and they were my childhood. I’ve been watching the original iCarly lately because it’s more better than the reboot because of Jennette McCurdy and I’ve read her book. Listen to her narrated and she calls him the creator, which is sad I’m happy that he was able to win the kids choice lifetime achievement award, which was pretty awesome to see, in a way but even though he did bad things to his castmates, hoping he will go to jail for what he did

I’ll be honest, idk how a lot of people who watched the shows and didn’t catch on about the feet showing, the facts the female actors had to wear a lot of skirts or questionable clothing and a lot of questionable things on a kids show that parents would be like why is my kid watching this show also if I was the only one but there was a lot of scenes where these female actors were in skirts like Maranda on drake and Josh. Plus some actors didn’t cover up when the camera showed their whole body or at least let the actors crossing their legs to not reveal their underwear. That kinda made me question Nickelodeon even more.

I had to stop watching the documentary. I'm 27 years old and a man. I like to think of myself as hard to crack. I grew up on the internet, edgy shit. Beheadings, cartel videos, whatever else you'd consider hard to watch; however, I couldn't get through this documentary because for some reason it destroyed everything I thought I knew about the shows I grew up watching. The fact that Drake Bell was being molested while I was watching him have a great time on the Amanda Show. it just destroyed me. I've never felt my stomach drop like it did with that. truly disturbing. Just too real.

Damn. And I was thinking of watching shows like iCarly and Zoey 101! Especially the latter, since my mom told me I used to watch iCarly when I was younger (even though I only vaguely remember it, since my parents got rid of cable around the time I started kindergarten.

I’m a man who believes in separating the art from the artist. I still like Dan’s shows as shows. That said, the fact that he was able to get away with so much and not be held accountable about it for so long is unforgivable. I really hope he faces consequences for his awful actions sometime soon and I also really hope everyone he’s hurt are able to find tranquility for what has happened and are able to heal from their negative experiences with the guy.

I remember being a kid back in the 90s that was working in the industry and having agents tell me hey you don’t wanna go up for this audition it’s a Dan Schneider thing. He’s a weird guy and this was like 9596 so I mean it’s not new allegations we’ve known for a long time. He was a weirdo and weird shit was going on there.

Film people are the worst, i watched an AD get yelled at by a director and the DOP on alaska daily a Disney produced show. She was on a phone call with 911 cuz workers were dropping from heat stroke. they both accosted her for being loud during take, they then went to the cooling area where most the sick were and was asking them to get back to work.

I watched Dan on the TV show Head of the Class where he played an obnoxious, selfish, arrogant high school student with a wacky, inappropriate sense of humorGuess he was playing himself. He's worth 40 million. No need to worry about employment again. Big boy has enough to buy cheeseburgers until his dying day, but I suggest he switch to salads.

I have heard of other cases of abuse towards children in Hollywood long before Dan Schneider. Heck, ever since Hollywood existed, it's been toxic to all actors. Even kids. Crazy thing is once the bad news hits the fan, you figure improvements and reforms will happen in Hollywood. Cases like Dan Schneider will remind you it doesn't.

I remember watching iCarly, Victorious, Sam & Cat, etc with my daughter, when she was very young & my wife when they were all brand new first-run episodes and my wife & I would be saying, God this stuff seems so inappropriate and his foot-fetish was just so incredibly obvious.

My opinion on Dan Schneider is he needs to be in jail. I feel bad for everyone who had to endure this creeps BS over the years. No one deserves to be treated bad or preyed upon. Jerry Trainer deserves a lot of respect for protecting the iCarly cast from this guy.

I think most of his defenders should be looked into closely. I don’t think Hollywood elites drink blood or anything, but you see through the cracks once in a while and there seems to be a subculture of a variety of predators that seem to look out for each other.

The constant violation of child labor laws isn’t often mentioned as there are far juicier stories. But these law violations can cause him and Nickelodeon big time fines and possible jail time. I wish that it was taken as a bigger issue than the media does

None of you are asking what should be an obvious question. Who did Schneider have dirt on, ie who molested him at Nickelodeon He was a terrible actor, obnoxious and obese. No way he earned the position he was in through skill and experience.

If anything, my respect for Dan Schneider had been thrown out of the window a long time ago, especially before this docuseries. Even worse, why the higher-ups covered up his questionable behavior for so long is really beyond me.

I had nightmares of this guy as a kid. he was on a halloween episode in one of the later seasons of All That. some color isolated purple goop monster ate his brain. he ended the skit brainless and imitating an ambulance.
