13: 10 The growing old part is questionable, but it maybe a symbol of growing and changing, or maybe the monolith is extinguishing what he is, so it can make him something else. As to the baby, that is easy. He's evolving to a higher form. Like a fish leaving the water, he is a new lifeform being born leaving the earth. He is now a space faring lifeform brithed from 'mother' earth.

2001 is my favorite movie of all time. I got to see a screening of it at the Roger Ebert film festival a long time ago, and it was amazing. Keir Dullea was there in person to answer questions afterwards, and Arthur C. Clarke was brought in by what would now be Zoom to do the same. I'll always remember that night.

The movie I needed to rewatch was Sixth Sense. After the iconic surprise ending I wanted to rewatch it to see if their were clues to pick up on the fact that Malcolm was dead. Then when I finally did rewatch it I was shocked at how he really was dead and people treated him like he was dead the entire time!

To this day I still have no clue whether Jack in The Shining was crazy, dead all along, a ghost or if he died in the maze but that is what makes The Shining so great, that you simply do not know for sure what is going on. It fits the supernatural theme of the movie

the sixth sense was one that made me rewatch it on vhs. All this time there was micro clues that Bruce's character was dead but when Haley Osment said I see dead people and Bruce's character having that OMG look, you dont know it at first.

Mulholland Drive is one of the most confusing, perplexing, entertaining and scary movies I have ever seen. the Director is a genius And I wrote a paper in college about this movie. So many ways to interpret this movie.

I absolutely LOVE No Country for Old Men, book & movie. Yes, the screen went to black & you're like, WTH. But I understood what they were trying to say. I've read the book & watched the movie 100x!

Both Se7en and Shutter Island not being on this list is criminal.
On second thoughts 10 cloverfield lane could also easily fit on this list- we 100% need a top 20/part 2 of this video!

I love how deliberately ambiguous American Psycho was, in that it was left up to the audience to decide if Bateman really is a serial killer, or it's all in his head.

A topic like this would have been questionable without any of Stephen King's works. I remember watching the ending of It: Chapter Two several times

The only confusing bit for me. In American Psycho is the Paul Allen bit. Like who did he actually kill, that's what I would have liked to know.

I've watched Mulholland Drive multiple times, and there are still new things I notice on every viewing.
It's the Ulysses of modern film.

Many of these require not just rewatching the ending, but the entire movie to see the clues that led up to the final twist.
