The story of the 04 Red Sox is a story I’ll never forget. Only being 2 at the time. I obviously didn’t care nor pay attention. But, as I grew older my father, and most guys in my family would always tell that story to me. I would then go on to watch the 30 for 30 documentary: 4 Days in October. And man, I wish I was old enough to remember that time and be there during it. That’s a story for the ages.
But, now. I have my own story for the ages. The falcons collapse against the patriots in Super Bowl 51. I remember watching that game with my dad on the couch and thinking that it’s over. My dad went up to bed, I figured I’d just stay and watch the commercials and scroll through my phone not really paying attention. But eventually they were scoring and would come back. I remember Edlenuts miraculous catch, and whites final touch down to seal the deal.
Memories like those you’ll never forget, and I hope someday we’ll get more like them. The fans of the patriots were truly spoiled, having the best QB of all time on their team. I never realized how truer that statement was till having Mac Jones and Cam Newton. And now this team. But man, Boston sports is a whole memory.

WHAT are you on about The name Steven Gerrard is not like poison to Liverpool fans, he’s considered a club LEGEND.
Not only that no Brazil 2014, which is more famous than everything on this list. Even people who don’t watch football are aware of this lol.
Also, Barcelona against Liverpool (in 2019) was a bigger collapse than the one on the list. This is because that would’ve taken them onto the finals - against Tottenham.

I’m a lifelong Red Wings fan and I had a great amount vitriol for the Avalanche and Patrick Roy in particular at the time, so the Statue of Liberty goal and the ensuing 7-0 beat down the next game to win the West was like a shot of dopamine directly into my veins.
