Lately, I've caught steam coming from my hands and fingers in the dead of winter. As of this writing their is snow on the ground.
Yet, what happened two days ago, really makes me believe that I'm gaining a certain amount of control over my chi:
For whatever reason, I felt compelled, to take two fist-fulls of snow, and then try and melt them. At first, my hands were okay; but then they started to get REALLY cold. Stinging. Numb. But I persisted. I stood in a martial arts stance, much like a horse stance; and held out both hands, without clasping the snow. hands open, palms pretty flat.
I must have stood like that, breathing in deeply and focusing on my feet and the warmth building in my belly and back, until I began to see the pile of snow in my right hand becoming less white, with the underside becoming kind of clear and fusing together. I could move my hand back and forth slightly and cause it to slide on my palm, and water began to drip from the inner edge of my palm and my fingers.
I looked over and noticed another odd thing. The bush that I had been practicing moving with the wind, had snow on it, too; but some of the limbs. the snow had been melting. It was barely noticeable; but there were these wet places that were very slowly forming fat water droplets.
Later on, I noticed that my left hand was beginning to warm up, as well. Although, the right hand's pile of snow was CONSIDERABLY smaller and further along in the process.
Now, when I started. it had been cold and had been cold for a very long time. This was snow that had lasted for days. The sun was behind the clouds.
When I was finished. the sun had come out.
I believe we all have this power to affect nature. The very Universe itself; and this will be one of the topics that I'll be covering in my book.
I'm not a Grandmaster, yet. But what I've accomplished in 4 years, tells me that so much is possible; and if I can somehow learn to transfer my knowledge to other people - they may not become grandmasters themselves. that path is extremely difficult; but I believe that they could use that knowledge to improve their lives considerably. That is my focus for this life - to teach people how to tap into their own inner power that lies mostly dormant till the day they die. It's a waste. It's a shame. There's so much more to human potential than what we've been led to believe.
