This 20 minute Ashtanga inspired intermediate yoga class will start your day perfectly and challenge your practice to help advance to a new level. While remaining with your conscious breath & awareness through each movement, this morning yoga class will start out with an Ashtanga Surya Namaskar B sun salutation to get the body moving. Then the practice will move through many variations of yogic squats, forward folds, inversions, and more to stimulate and wake-up your body. This intermediate yoga flow will involve many binds to boost your digestive system, increase your metabolism, and get you ready to start your day. Remember to be patient with your body and never force any posture. This is an intermediate yoga class that is for anyone that wants to advance their yoga asanas and challenge their body in a different way. Remember to use your Ujayi breathing to keep the mind and body steady and focused. Releasing all the toxins and negativity with each breath

Juliana, all your morning flows presuppose us, just like you, being in fresh air and in the sun which would ensure good oxygenation and almost instant body flexibility. You can start the morning flow with powerful Sun salutations and back inversions from the outset. But we are in our bedrooms, no fresh air or sun to warm our backs. with a rigid back after hours of computer sessions the previous day getting first thing into cobra would for sure break my back. We need a flow that is less taxing on the back and more gradual, to ease us into sun salutations which, as mentioned, are rather strong. Could you do that for us?

Beautiful practice, i was wondering for the last posture; hovering in lotus, any advice for achieving this even if you have short arms? The only way i can get my palms on the ground while sitting it to hunch forward. having them next to my hips i cant support myself. does that come with more experience, or do other shorties find it difficult also?

I often have to go back and re-watch the intros once or twice with all your videos. They just fill me up with wonder and peace and inspiration to reach far in life. I've watched the previews for your programs so many times, lol, because they pump me up. Your efforts in beauty of filmography and editing are NOT wasted.

I LOVED this practice It's absolutely what I needed. At the end when you lift yourself with your hands. for some reason that's the hardest position for me and I just can't master it. Not because of strength, but because I feel like my arms aren't long enough to give me a lift. It sounds funny but is that a thing?

Thank you for this. I love your Ashtanga inspired workouts as I love Ashtanga yoga but I don't have time to do 90 minutes practice per day Please do more of these and the more advanced postures are great too so that we can progress

Hello juliana. That was a great video demonstrating the lotus posture. Just wanted to request you to do a video on the handstand and also a video on transitioning from the lotus posture to the handstand. Thanks and Regards

Does anyone else feel pressure in the back of their neck when they do plow? Maybe I'm doing it wrong. It feels nice on my back but not on my neck and throat. I try to listen to my body and go easy.
