Hairdresser reacts to blue box dye gone wrong!

I quit dying my hair for a while until recently, bleach again, and try got2b sakura pink, which gave me a chemical burn and turned my hair BURGUNDY, like straight up red-violet? Then it faded in like 3 washes to like a rose gold on my bleached portions and a nice pastel pink on my roots, then it was completely gone in like 2 more washes except for my temples and 2 streaks in my bangs which are still pink weeks later?
If you want that kind of unpredictable results, you can just mix Punky Colour or Manic Panic or whatever your preferred brand is (not Arctic Fox though bc it's led by a toxic homophobic racist, like maybe a tsp or tbsp to a bowl of conditioner, whatever looks right. I'm sure you can measure and maybe get the same result every time but that's not my style so sometimes I'd be pastel pink, sometimes rose gold, sometimes flamingo, sometimes salmon. But it's still better than what those box dyes did

I used this same color my freshman year of high school, two years before this video came out. I wish it was there before I did my hair with this dye bc I wouldnt have done it. My hair was lighter than this girls, but still not light enough. I didnt have orange like hers, it was more of a yellow blonde all over, so it took as one color, but since it wasnt light enough it became exactly what Brad said: mucky greenish-gray. Luckily it literally washed out in three days and I was left with blonde hair, which I kept for quite a while. To make a long story short, if you wanna use this hair dye or another similar color, your hair needs to be pale yellow, platinum, or like the shade of brads hair in this video.

Liiiike, I wonder how she thought If this was going work out well in any way whatsoever. There are three mindsets I think maybe she has one of. If not all of them:
1: will this is probably goin to look like shit but I've come too far now so I'm going to see his throw

I dont understand why she didnt put more bleach on her hair, she put it on like 30% of her hair in many different places when she shouldve did those mids first with a thick coating of bleach then went in on the roots (preferably with 30 volume ) and then the ends the last 15 minutes, but she didnt even coat all her hair with bleach!

Brad's face around the 6 minute mark though when she took the cap off and the millisecond of surprised happiness where he was thinking the roots looked good before turning to devastation and then further shocked horror as more hair was revealed. I think he bypassed a couple stages of grief and created some new ones

I totally tried this smokey blue box dye years ago and it was very patchy and garbage and that shit really dries out your hair as well I've been using demi and semi permanent colors since no more box dyed for this girl. I'm currently using arctic fox but deffinately going to have to try your magical rainbow of colors soon.

I never really understood why my colour wouldn't come out like the box until I started watching your videos. I was like It says not to use on pre-coloured hair. pffffft. now I know why lol. Only use bleach and your colours currently anyway haha

Boy wish I found this 5 months ago when I dyed my virgin auburn hair with two boxes of platinum, managed to lift it to gold, used 3 boxes of grey, and now I cant brush my hair cause it tangles so badly and is falling out and stringy

I am not hairdresser but I do know that first lady trying to go grey it's so NOT GOING TO WORK on multi coloured hair! May be wrong but wouldn't it be better to bleach all her multi coloured hair first? XX

My sister has tried using that silver dye on already heavily lifted hair and absolutely nothing happened so I think thats proof enough it wont work on almost any hair unless its a miracle

I think its so bad because she refuses to use enough bleach or hair dye! The orange didnt change color because she didnt use enough dye! She only had one box for that long thick hair!
