Split ender pro ii: hairdresser approved? fuzbcuz: My hair is down my back. I haven't been to a salon for a cut in well over 2 years. I figured I could use this. I was terrified but I started with pieces that could be covered by the rest of my hair. I got more comfortable and did the entire left side of my head. When I compared it to my untouched side, it seems like this machine CREATED split ends, or more like, it cut some strands shorter so that they were sticking out like baby hairs. They are more visible than they were before. As soon as the strands ran through, all the new baby hairs it was creating flew up due to static (my hair gets really dry during this season. Anyway, I'm annoyed. I did NOT do the right side of my head; I left well enough alone.

For the first time ever I am dissapointed in a BM video. Besides the fact that you appear drunk I can't understand that as a great hairdresser you don't get that split ends not only occur at the bottom of your hair. Not all hairs are that long. You can have split ends all the way down the lenght of your hair. I used to cut these by hand once in a while when I was younger and had very long hair. Took me a day! So I do understand the need for something like this and I don't understand that you don't. However, these things cut all the hairs that are peeping out and not just the split ends so you'll end up thinning your hair. So no, I'm not gonna try it.

Why are you not doing this on a person with layered hair that's the whole point of this machine to cut the split ends on your long hair that has layers throughout that's why you start at the top.
I thought you were a hair professional I'm all about you but you completely blew my mind when I looked at your rating for this when I just saw my friend use it and it was amazing with her long hair with lairs.
It only took the split ends off her layers kept ever all the length and was beautiful and made a nice difference and all of the split ends with the same size

I wish, for the cost, that it was better made. At that price point my expecation for this tool would be for it to be much quieter. I have been waiting for a professional version of this, in any line. I wish #Babyliss would make this tool for us professionals. As a professional, if I pulled that out on the floor of my salon, my employees would be side eyeing me. I do have clients this would be great on but I will continue to cut the way I always have until this tool gets it's much needed improvement.

No it's a split and trimmer for layered hair is aired hair or if you have a lot of breakage in your length.
It is not for the ends that is a traditional trim.
This is for people with layered hair that have split ends from top to bottom it's not about the ends please redo this.
Please redo this ad you did not know what this tool was used for before you did this ratings because it's not for the ends that's why you do the start to the top to the bottom

Update.
Right I know this was a great product but try and avoid if possible. I bought this last year and it completely ruined my ends I have more split ends than I did before buying not only that it really really thins your hair. If you want to get rid of split ends then just use scissors the old fashion way takes ages but it so much better than this tool. Yeah I can't believe I wasted my money on this: /.

I bought the Split Ender Pro last year and I tried it out for 2 times. Before I tried the first time my fingers got stucked when I went through it. After the Split Ender there were no stucking anymore. For me it is a cool thing but it's still very expensive and everyone should think about it for his own. I can only say I love it: )

I actually like Brads videos, but none of this makes sense. Split ends run up the hair shaft and continue breaking. Hence why you run it down the entire length of your hair. Also why dusting is a thing instead of trimming. He is a pro, he should know that. And it was taking so little off, he is insane saying he would be bald. Lol

It does work. These are great ive got the split ender 2 pro. defo worth the buy. I only going to the hair dressers once a year now. and 8 weekly trims with these. My hairs in so good condition. I dye my hair at home with salon dye and its black so easy to keep on top of. My hair is wavy. I use my irons before i do it. Soooo good.

Brad, around my hair line, at the bottom on my hair strands it is white but it is not split. Would that still be considered early signs of split ends?
I'm pretty sure i have breakage at the front of my hair due to swimming with a mask. goodness. My face is not meant to wear bangs. XxX

I feel like this work best for people with long and damaged hair? like yes, I would try it to try and feel better about my bleach damage frizz. but if you have short hair or want a style it's not for you. good for between styling cuts? especially if you have a hair dye addiction.

I wonder how many people who have purchased your products realize that under all that packing there is a Hi Beautiful message just for them on the box. I didn't know until I was separating for recycling. Great surprise and left me with a huge smile. Thanks Brad

I want to buy this thing to help with length maintenance. My hair is almost to my knees and with breakage from having 20 year old hair, I have split ends of all lengths. I was hoping for a more realistic review before I spent 150 bucks. This video is not helping

200 dollars, I bought this, split ender pro.
1. Cut of a strand of hair.
2. Just cuts a few millimeters of the hairs it grabs, split ends or not.
3. Noone would even buy it, I threw it away.
Dont buy this piece of crap.

Do yall really think he would give a truthful opinion about this? Ofc not. He doesnt wanna lose anything lmao. Ill buy it just because he said it wont make a difference because it clearly does. I said what I said.
