Hairdresser reacts to diy foil bleach fail P. M: Honest to god for anyone wanting to go blonde from brown or black hair virgin or boxed dye. Just get the damn highlights and move along. Its a process and will take a few months but it can be achiveable. We live in a world now that we have the internet in our hands that things need to happen fast, no patience just now. And our bodys and hair are nowhere near capable of keeping up with the idea or image or demands we have for ourselves. So be kind to yourslef and enjoy the process. And if you cant wait and are impatient buy a lacefront.

I have used colorfix many times. It works, but you MUST rinse forever. The reason people don't like to use the third step is because it makes the color molecules show up again after their hair has lightened to the desired color. The problem with NOT using it is that as soon as you put new color on the hair, it will re-darken anyway. Been there, done that
But if you rinse enough, the third step is supposed to close the cuticle? I'm not a hair dresser, but that's what I've been told.

Lol I dont really expect Sallys employees to know what theyre doing. Its a minimum wage retail job right? People need to stop expecting minimum wage workers to be experts in what their shop sells lol if they know stuff and can offer advice, thats cool but do your own research too. Like, I work at a gas station and it kills me when people really want me to tell them what kind of oil to put in their car. Like dude I dont even DRIVE, Im just a cashier

11: 10 THANK YOU!
Not everyone who works at Sallys knows what theyre talking about!
Its a STORE, not a SALON!
Man, every time a video starts with, the person at Sallys said its going to be a coin toss.
Its like going to a grocery store and asking an employee, What should I make for dinner?
Some of them are probably great cooks, have good recipes, etc.
But some of them are just there for a paycheck.

Look, I work at Cosmoprof (aka Sallys Pro store) and I am not a licensed professional so can confirm plenty of use dont know what you actually need. I was so intimidated by people asking color questions when I started and my manager told me to just let people know Im not licensed so I cant really help with that kind of advice and that was such a relief

The sad part about this video is that the girl ended up with a hair color that was barely lighter than what she had after using the color remover to get the dye out of her hair. She wasted a lot of time, money, and damaged her hair for no reason. She should have just stopped after the color remover.

honestly if you're going to bleach your hair at home just don't do the roots first, take very small paperthin sections and coat it until you can't see the hair anymore leave it on for as long as you are recommended, then once it's light enough, tone it idfk i bleach my hair sometimes

I NEED a video of Brad taking a trip to a sally's and trying some of the most used products in these reactions videos. PLEASE, Brad, show use how to use them correctly. Or better yet tell us why they shouldn't work the way people are expecting to be able to use them.

I feel like Brad mondo should just make a whole hair line just for Sally's so everyone can buy his products to lighten and tone etc. Since he works with Sally's might as well have his own Sally's line of bleach and toners and tools! I think it would be so cool!

She is one of these women that rolls out of bed and seizes the world. She doesn't like to prip herself. I can tell. Bleaching the hair takes a lot of work and has to be kept up. Like someone who dyes their hair red. Its maintenance. Mmmm. its ok.

Colour fix is like ammonia based perm, use part 3! Thats the neutralizer! Without this the cuticle and the bonds cant close and restructure so you will have way more damage as it hasnt stopped the chemical process. Thats why your hair fell out

Hey Brad! You look great like this! I Love your Videos. Why they don't come to us to start with right? ( It is not about the money they save only. IT IS ABOUT SAVING THE HAIR and that is proceless!
reply

If I did that to my hair when I was younger, my mother would have been so pleased to send me to school, would have taken pictures and the whole family would still be laughing at me remembering it.
reply

thats because the sally's employees keep telling us we dont need. whats funny is what katy said is literally THE EXACT line they gave me. i ask questions, but strain their advice quite heavily!
