Hairdresser reacts to jenna marbles making a wig Just: I didn't want to post this on Twitter because I'm embarrassed and ppl know me on there, and I can't DM you, obvi, but I'm having problems with crown growth, and would REALLY love to know what you would recommend for 4c ppl with that problem. It grows about an inch then it stops. The rest of my hair around it grows fine. I try to moisturize my crown twice as much as the rest, and I wash every two weeks to keep those oils in there, as I know my hair type loses moisture very quickly. Please, please, PLEEEEEAAAASSSEE, help me!

A bit more thought to the strange idea of drying a wig in a dryer: Maybe if you braid it or bind it to itself somehow and then put it in a fine mesh bag, it'd be protected from the yank-y parts of the dryer. Not sure what setting you should put it on, tho. At least one thing is clear: don't do it to a synthetic wig.

I'm fascinated by the fact that people are okay with wearing a wig full of other people's hair, but would freak out if someone pulled hair off a hairbrush and gave it to them.

i guess you could put it in a dryer but i feel like it would get tangled as hell and if it's not real hair it might melt if its like fake or something. IDK.

The first wig i ever made i hot glued the tracks and it looked pretty good but it was stiff on the cap and felt more like putting on a hat instead of a wig

Many years ago I wore a $20 party city wig on halloween and an old teacher of mine thought it was natural hair. I thought she was joking. she was serious.

I think, if you put it in a mesh laundry bag, you could probably put it in the dryer and dry it on low heat or just air dry it in the dryer.
reply

Technically, you could put the wig in a thin zip up pillow case or a laundry net to prevent the hair from getting tangled inside the dryer

The editing in of the extra sound effects is hilarious. Actually laughed out loud at the squeaky table, harmonica, and keyboard sounds

Wait, what, how was this 8 months ago? I could have sworn she posted this video like a month and half ago! Holy crap, time!
