I permed my hair a few years after she did and mine actually came out how I wanted it (this might have been because I was actually trained to do perms, cut hair, dye etc as I went for the qualifications ) and she was so annoyed that hers went rubbish and mine didnt still to this day in early 30s it comes up in conversation how she permed her hair straight lol

This makes me feel a certain kind of bad. My great grandma, grandma and my mom did their own perms ever since I can remember. My great grandma always had short strawberry blonde permed hair. My grandma had what we called 'poodle bangs' they were so tight that she looked like a poodle with wavy long hair in the back. My mom had big curly hair from her teen years in the 80s all the way til about 1999.

Homegirl must have went to cosmetology school in the back of some dudes fan. I really hope she doesn't work in a salon. And no, it doesn't look good at all. It looks like she totally fried her hair. I kind of doubt she knows what she's doing, because she keeps saying she knows what she's supposed to do, well then why doesn't she do it right? Why would you intentionally try to ruin your hair?

When I was 16 I was the OG gorilla glue chick. I super glued Sallys beauty extensions to my SCALP then realized you could see them through my hair so I had to YANK that shit out with a rat tailed comb. It literally made a bald spot and I was shaking and crying in the shower. It was also like 3am so I had no support glad to say my hair is healthy and waist length now tho

This first couple was a deadly duo. They basically threw up their middle fingers at the proper way to give a perm. They went about the whole process using whatever they had laying around. Had NEVER before seen someone use regular rollers to do a perm until this video. It was fun to watch, especially when dude gave his bizarre explanation of what a perm is/does.

Ive had people show up to my salon like that Im just like hmmmmm yeah Id say its a bit damaged while its literally falling to the floor, and then my horrible self went to the back to laugh cuz its always people we told not to do a perm at home that do it at home to save money. And then end up back having to pay hundreds to maybe salvage it

I have never ever permed my own hair. Had mine permed at hairdressers UK. I have always bleached my own hair for over 20 year's! Thank goodness always went well. Would never bleach my hair more than once. Been purple pink red blue, turquoise my best colour I love is purple punk. So LOVE watching your videos xxx

The last person was horrible. When Brad said she must have barely passed I laughed. Yup. She should be embarrassed. I know Im not doing this right but I dont care. Omgosh Im so nervous. Did I do this right?

Thing I love about Brad, is that he NEVER judges anyone, he might throw a little shade but overall he is always supportive of every video he watches! Most hairdressers judge the shit out of anyone who does their own hair! Love you Brad!

I feel the second guy. Ive got a Perm on my very light bleach hair from my hairdresser. She said it gaves me volume. My hair was fried from the top to the bottom. It was horrible! Never never a Perm again!

I had my hair permed for 2 years (only in salon. It was so damaged in the end I had it cut off. It's taken 4 years to get back to the same length and strength it was before I started. Would not recommend.

When I was a kid I had to get my hair permed twice within at least 2 to 3 weeks because my hair was so heavy and thick that the perm solution didn't make it stay in this was done by professionals.
