I figured out what went wrong. You didn't do the DIAMOND OVER LAY dye method. Like take the hair into sections so it looks like a diamond on the top. Then brush the hair the OPPOSITE wag. Lay it flat on the opposite side of the head. Then do the rainbow dye one layer at a time. Kinda like ur doing it UNDER the hair bc it's basically laid upside down.
You just did it straight across the head so when the hair fell it laid into a flat rainbow versus falling into a layered halo prysm.
I watched his video then yours and I see what went wrong. It's all about the diamond and the lay over method.

He did the colors in layers. Like that orange and yellow was done separately from the rest with some of her blonde laid down between. I know you saw that. This is what makes it 3D!

I actually prefer Brad's to guy's. I think it's more prismatic, Guy's was amazing but was way more pastel and didn't remind me of a prism.
