Hairdresser reacts to people doing 'wolf cuts' on their curly hair (as seen on tiktok) AnimeNation: i want his wavy and curly stuff the shampoo conditioner and revival my hair is so damage from the bleach i did to make my hair blue which faded fast: ( i want to be a unicorn or a awesome shade of blues going through out my whole head and have them stay longer. i used the got 2 b metallic mercury blue and we used the lorel colorista (can't remember full name) only which is a lot less harsher than the other bleaches i used on my hair but like the blue has came out within 2 weeks. its so sad the only place it really stayed was on the top of my head the pony tail part just was like noooooo i don't want the blue no more. now mind you i only dye my hair every 5 to 6 months and if a color comes out and its still blond i will dye blue against on the bleach i wouldn't risk re-bleaching the whole hair again since too much bleach will fry or damage the ends more than they already are of course we sometimes cut the dead ends off when its time to re-bleach the hair but thats after a couple colorings and cuttings. which i haven't had my hair cut in like 2 years professionally or at home. so its time to get it cut again but don't have money for a hair salon visit and if i do it my self i want to go short but have layers and my hair is wavy and curly and bangs do not really look good on me unless they were long and framing my how face. with is very oblong. but i love watching his react videos to these hair cuts and bleach fails. :)

I can't find my comment, but WARNING: while it is easier to cut layers in your hair with this technique you need at least 3 ponytails, probably 4-5 realistically. There is SO MUCH hair in only two ponys that you miss a ton hiding in the middle. My sides came out uneven, and I had to cut more off than I wanted.
The longer side I loved more but of course I couldn't have that. Will likely go back to the typical, proven technique going forward. Wanted to warn my fellow curly girls. This technique is for those with VERY THIN hair only.

I use the 2nd hair tie because I twist my hair so that the cut isn't perfectly even. It's an easy way to naturalize things. So you put the 1st hair tie, the twist the pony tail and put the 2nd hair tie just above where you want to cut to hold the twist while you cut. I also have a TON of hair, so the 2nd hair tie really helps control everything.

When i was kid, I wanted curlier hair because I thought it would be less work (not having to straighten out my annoying waves every day, now that Im older and my hair has become very curly with age, and its still a shitload of work.
Edit: I really want a shag with bangs, but no one in my town knows how to do one. Send help?

As like someone who has wavy hair, Im not exactly sure what products I should be using for my hair because its always poofy and frizzy. While the front of my hair is like wavy while the back of my hair is the most poofiest and straight. I live in a place with a LOT of humidity which makes it even worse.

Hunh, it seems I've been giving myself wolf cuts for twenty years. I've always been happy I have a lot of curly hair to hide mistakes. Then I book an appointment to have it fixed and my stylist gets to straighten it (it's her favorite thing, so it's only fair.

I tried it with curly hair and it looked nothing like a wolf cut, it did make my hair look more poofy and like an afro tho. That was. until I decided to cut the front shorter. Now I have a horrifying fringe that i just accepted was a failure as soon as I saw

I think with the wolf cut using dull scissors actually ends up working in their favor because the layers they're cutting arent as straight across and end up breaking and becoming more choppy and blending But I don't know anything so

if you want to get it done at a salon, try to find a modern salon. i wanted to get this and i convinced my mom. the stylist was a bit older and didnt know what it was so i showed her a photo. she just gave me layers

I have wavy curly hair and I usually get my hair professionally layered once or twice a year. It's been a year since my last appointment, maybe I should try this? I tend to like more blended layers instead of choppy layers.

I wish I was brave enough to do a video but I did this cut and I absolutely love how it turned out! I have very heavy curly hair and this cut was a godsend and brought me back to my teen years! Thank you for the inspiration

People are using the second elastic because they don't cut hair ever and they don't have the practice you do, Brad. They need help keeping the hair together because it'll slip from their fingers.

i so wish i had curly or wavy hair. when i get layers, it just makes my hair look thinner
also the new style is to have big wavy/curly hair and i have flat straight hair and it makes me sad

I did this haircut once when I was like 15 and it turned out fine but Im scared to do it again after seeing so many fails. I have curly hair and no bangs so it just gave me nice layers.
reply

Considering wolfcut for myself. I have somewhat wavyish hair. I gotta do something with my hair, because at this point my hair is wearing me, rather than me wearing my hair.
