Pro hairdresser tries to identify cheap vs expensive hair products Leader: Greetings from Edmonton City, Canada:
Soap Maker weighing in: Fragranced any product is usually toxic. Not like products with fragrance oils will kill you the first time you spray them on your hair! that would be dumb, yet over time they can make you sick, give poor skin and /or hair quality, and affect your mood. Remember that you breathe in the fumes from spray in shampoos, texturizers, hairsprays, etcetera. and over time their chemical-laden ingredients can irritate your lungs. Asthmatic, Epileptic, and headache prone people should stay away from fragranced hair care products.
Essential Oils - preferably 100% Organic - are better for our bodies because they have healing benefits that fragrance oils do not. Calendula and Pomegranate Carrier Oils are excellent for locking in hair moisture. Jojoba Carrier Oil mimics our skin oils the closest and soothes dry scalp. Lemon Essential Oil helps with skin blemishes and a little with hair toning, depending on your hair colour and how much you dyed your hair. Peppermint Essential Oil = headache helper. Mondo Essential Oil helps you stay beautiful. i could go on! i am currently washing my hair with my Root Beer Float Soap and love it!

EVOLUTION SOAP COMPANY from Canada weighing in again (Mica made me do it):
Mica is cheap! Because Mica is not 100% Natural like most Companies claim and can easily be manufactured in a lab of factory. i can purchase sort-of artificially dyed ) and sort-of Natural ) Mica in a small pot for around 68$ Canadian. Still not sure if Mica is the best option (artificial or not, so i choose to omit it and fragrance oils from my Soaps. The most expensive products (at least in the Soap industry) have little or no Micas, and use Organic, Fair-Trade, non-G. M. O, etectera. Essential Oils instead of potentially dangerous fragrance oils that can irritate your skin, lungs, and eyes.
Clays and flower powders are better options to dye Soaps and hair care products. Never trust Mica, unless you know the exact source where your Mica eye shadow or other beauty product with Mica comes from.
You have been educated on Mica and Clays. Your life has been enriched with Soap knowledge. ;) i will stop bothering you now. Edit: if something is sparkly beware of how Natural it is.

I love Brad and would love to be his sugar mama. I'm married with a bunch of kids, so no nasty stuff, but if he needs a 30 something year old Black woman whose boosoms he needs to lay his head on when he's stressed, I gotchu LOL. I'm probably old enough to be his grandmother, but his positive energy, the way he comically points out do's and don'ts and then shows genuine glee when a style turns out better than expected? Love him.

I use expensive and cheaper products on my hair and it works for me. I believe that it just depends on your hair type and how healthy you are. Everything starts from the inside and what you put in your body. I buy really expensive shampoo and conditioner but I use $7. 99 dry shampoo. I love Joico products but they dry the heck out of my hair.

That's kind of the point. Everyone's hair is different. Price doesn't matter. Scent doesn't matter. Performance matters! I'm sure most people can find something that works for their hair and budget. This was a fun game, but only trying different products for your hair, in YOUR price range, will find what works for YOU!

This video was super fun. I love guessing type videos because I like to guess with them haha. I've always wanted to try expensive products but I stick with low to mid range because my hair is pretty low maintenance. It just needs a good conditioner, shine treatment and heat protectant.

Brad, I would really like to see a video on you personal recommendations for your products on different hair typers, specifically wavy, oily scalp dry ends, thick frizzy hair, as I'd like to take better care of my hair using your products as they seem to have amazing results

I had pretty much the entire line of Kerastase products used on me at a salon on a Royal caribbean cruise, it was fantastic, but strangely affordable. I walked out with lovely hair for a full three weeks for only $100 (That includes tip)

My boy knows his stuff. Super impressed with how many he got correct and how close he was with that pricing. I feel like this also shows how much Brad is involved with his own product line. Good job Brad!

Hi, my mum went from dyed blonde to light brown and it appears to have a green tinge to it. What should she do? Is there any specific shampoo she should use to get rid of the green lol
reply

You should try and test out all the cheapest ones from this and see if they can work for people on a budget who want the best but can't get anything expensive
