My hair is nowhere near this beautiful, but I do grow it out regularly (because it grows really fast) & then get an extreme cut to donate at least 10. Since my hair is also insanely thick (at least 3x thicker than this, they’re able to make 2 wigs out of each donation.
I used to donate to Locks Of Love, but I found out that they typically charge for the wigs & I wanted it to go to people who really NEEDED it, so the last 5 donations (out of 13) have been sent to Children With Hair Loss, a nonprofit that provides free wigs to children nationwide who’ve lost their hair due to any kind of medical issue (not just permanent hair loss like some programs require. I plan on donating again this spring, so I’ll have short hair for the summer!

17yrs ago, i decided to finally get my hair cut, after growing it out for 5yrs. I have curly hair, as in it naturally falls into ringlets. My hair at this stage was below my waist, dry and curly, when straightened it was nearly long enough to sit on. The first time I went to the hairdresser, she cut off 18 inches (45cm. I’ve done that like 7-8 times in my life, my hair goes to my waist, and bum! I go short, over my shoulders. The shocked faces of all the girls on the salon is priceless. My fist time, I was 5 years old, and I cut it (ok my hairdresser) like super short, a little longer than a pixie My dad wasn’t happy, my mom, it’s her hair, she can do whatever she wants with it.

My hair went till my ass and i actually cut my hair a little shorter than she did (like it barely touched my shoulders) and i wish i could donate them but i got told that my hair is nothing they want because im natural brown but made it blonde so my around 50 cm hair got wasted

I go to a hairstylist about once every 1-2 years, so my reaction every time I get my hair is Cut, no, more, cut, cut. and then I go Wait, where the heck did my hair go! to a No, wait, I actually like it, why didn't I do this before!

When she lopped off that first bit I almost had a panic attack for her! I love having longer hair but I also always wear it in a pony tail or bun cuz it’s too hot; I’m like stay out of the way until I need you twice a year

When I was young, I grew my hair long until I could sit on it. Then I got sick of it, and wanted it all off. Mum plaited it, and cut it all off. Had a cute lil bob. Head felt so light!

Her hair tho was beautiful tho I love the second look her hair so beautiful for someone can't grow hair because my hair so weak it ought be against law to hack beautiful hair off LoL

Thank the Lord she has such a beautiful face that she can pull off a butchered bob with so much grace! She could have shaved the whole thing and still look gorgeous
