Could you do some hairestyles for people with my kind of haircut? It drives me crazyA I love your videos but they are almost all undoable on my hair. I have my hair in a side part, layers starting mid-way down (very thick hair) and a side-swept fringe/bangs. Any ideas? I often feel I can only have my hair as-is or tied up with framing pieces, especially since the layers mean braids end up with lots of random piece sticking out The side part also means I can't do symmetrical styles: (

A tip for those who dont have an embroidery needle: Just use a bobby pin and thread your cord through: ) just remember to use the blunt end as the tip of the needle when you are pulling it through, so that the other hair won't get caught in it. I didnt have any leather cord, so i just used some string i had, and it worked really well: Ddefinitely going to wear this more often when i want to look a little extra

That's a tapestry needle. You use it to hide the ends when working with yarn. Not that it really matters, but you seemed to be at a lost for a moment there so I thought she teaches me this beautiful hairstyles every week, the least I can do is share my limited knowledge with her, if it's any help, so I hope that was at least a tiny bit helpful.

Amazing job Love it I hope you can help (if you see this comment, how would I do these types of braids if I have an m shapes hairline? My hairline jets in quite a bit above my eyebrows on both sides so I'm missing that hair that helps start the braid and really don't know how to work around this problem. :(

This is probably the dumbest request ever, but you should do a tutorial on french braiding. I can dutch braid for days but when i try to french braid i always mess up and switch back and forth between the 2 braids because my brain hurts. Lol thanks and hah we spell our names alike

Hey kayley, u could have tried to do rope braids instead of dutch braid also, i think that would have given the fuller effect of those really complicated knot braids. anyway. i like the easy version. n i cant even imagine how sore ur arms must have been after that workout. haha.

Hi Kayley Great hairstyles. I have two questions: Do you buy the string and cord that you put in your hair from any normal craft store? And could you consider putting estimated time on hairstyles? As in how long the hairstyle will take to do. That would be really cool and helpful

I feel like a four strand braid could be a good alternative to the pipe braids and give us a similar effect. Although with a four strand braid you get a little bit more of a boxy shape compared to the roundness of the pipe braids, it would give you more thickness then a Dutch braid.

LOVE the end result of the pipe braid without the ribbon, but my arms hurt just looking at you doing it Ill probably only use it as an accent braid if I ever attempt it. Also, the pipe braid really does remind me of friendship bracelets with the forward (4) and backward (P) knots
