you needed four sets and you needed to put it in something much deeper. deep enough for her whole hand with space around it and you needed to blend, pour, and get her hand in that stuff WITHIN 45 SECONDS. because the instructions stated very clearly that this was absolutely necessary. I've made one and it takes four packs worth for a SMALL hand and the container was a cylinder that left about an inch all the way around the hand. They also have to hold very still and it helps if you put Vaseline all over the hand so it slides out easier. Getting everything completely organized before you start and being extremely FAST helps get you a usable hand. It's not perfect like the ones made in a lab or factory but its close enough to work with and save you some serious money. Good luck.

Hey Kirsty, thank you for trying out our product You did a great job mixing the molding powder but we noticed you may have ran into an issue waiting too long to insert the hand. Our molding powder will start to set (harden) after about two minutes Once the molding powder hits the water you have two minutes to mix and mold and we totally understand how quickly that time can fly by. We would love to send you a little gift bundle, with a couple of our favorite products, more molding powder, and some other fun goodies: ) please contact us at mediaempirelabs with your mailing address so we can send that out to you

So you waited too long to mold your hand with the alginate Once you mix put your hand in the alginate straight away and dont move about much Then with the silicone dont take your time with it either And only mix it once youre ready to mold your hand Mix both colored silicones together first then in a separate container mix the white silicone together from the 2 pots them when ready to mold your piece mix your 2 silicones in another bowl and mix well but not vigorously because you dont want bubbles Then let it sit over night

You need a slimmer and taller bucket to have the molding-solution in, and DONT TOUCH the mold while its setting Put the hand in, keep it still, wait the x amount of minuts and pull the hand out it cracked because you squishd it, And while she has her hand in in, you mix the gel/siliconepots together so its ready to be poured in when she takes her hand out. Aaaand yes, i think 3 or 4 of them is needed

Did you try it again? Cause I'm thinking about buying a silicone hand for tattoos, do u think will it work? Cause it is the same material but I don't know how to put the nails and remove them without breaking the fingers, why don't you try this idea and show us how would it be? Cause a tattoo hand with 5 fingers is cheap, it's only 40 euros.

I feel like if u had measured Dawns hand first and then chosen a container so she could put her hand down flat, and didnt pull the bag out and mess with the plaster it would have worked better and been less gritty. Plus, reading instructions is probably a good idea when you spend so much money on a product. Still love you lots

If you go onto ebay or Amazon, get something called Alginate. It's basically that white stuff. Use a tall cylindrical tube rather than a tub. That stuff is difficult to use but it is possible. You can buy alginate in 2kg and more bags. Might be cheaper than buying clone a willy boxes; )

Ask your dental nurse friend who gave you that instrument to get you a pack of alginate and use that to creat the mould, if you get a colour changing one to let you know when it is setting that would be easier for you

It would have worked but you waited WAY too long to put the hand in. In the time you changed containers and played with it in the bag it was already setting so when she put her hand in it cracked an already set mold.
