were doing an infill on Vanessa whos hurt her nail on the car door. Im going to prep first, going around the cuticle area first with a cuticle bit to push back the cuticles and remove all the non-living tissue. Ill then remove the gel polish with my e-file. For the nail with the split, Im also going to remove most of the acrylic because its damaged. Ill prep the natural nail as usual, removing the shine and shaping the acrylic a little. For the broken nail, Ill remove the rest of the acrylic with a hand file. Ill clean up with gel residue wipe off and dehydrate and prime the natural nail. Im going to re-sculpt the nail that broke as usual and do an infill the same as I have before. After filing, these nails are ready for a design

OK I have a serious question, Awesome video by the way, My question is I had dip powder put on my nails and it had been at least 5 weeks Before I had them taken off, I know now that that is way too long to have it on, Through out my dominant hand I have cracks on my natural nail they go across Where my Apex is, How do I fix set or do I put protection on it do another dip powder so it doesn't break all the way through it feels like my nails are going to break off, Any suggestions would be great, Or if you have a video or can do a video because I don't know what to do and I don't trust my Nell took now for something I have done

Thanks for the info I know these are more boring tutorials than the super blinged out sculpted acrylics but its so helpful for those of us who are new to wearing salon nails and dont know what to expect from a tech. Im in the US and its hard to find good techs that care to do a good job. A lot just want to get you in and out and theres definitely a language barrier that keeps you from being able to communicate the issues you want to address. Its almost like they do a crappy job because they know youll have to come back sooner and spend more money to get them fixed with another sub-par manicure.

I just bought the same efile after finding out its what you use The Saeyang What speed do you use when removing hard gel and acrylic? Just wondering because Ive heard some people say they turn it all the way up, but I find that generates too much heat even if you continue to move and not stick in one spot, something I have trouble with. But then Ive heard people say they keep it at 12-15 depending on the bit And what speed for prepping the natural nails and cuticles? Thanks in advance

Kristy, just for funsies, I would love to see Adam try to put a set of nails on you, lol. But it probably can't happen because of him being unlicensed. But damn, it would be funny as hell. I would be so honored, humbled, and wildly grateful if I could have you put a set of nails on my hands I am in awe of your artistic abilities. Your videos never cease to amaze and delight Thank you for posting your artwork, it's lovely

My sister use to get her nails oval shaped and it would physically make me sick whenever I seen them. I finally got her to start wearing her nails in a soft stiletto (some people still make almonds look like ovals because they dont pinch or taper the sides )

Kirsty would it be ok to apply product to nails with ridges? I have eczema on my hands and it has affected 2 nails, giving them ridges and are a bit brittle. So just want to know if its ok to wear extensions, be it forms or tips etc. Many thanks xx
