Today were going to use Builder in a Bottle for an extension. Now, Annettes hands arent very well maintained so Im going to show you the prep. Im going to push back and exfoliate the cuticle with 2 different cuticle bits on an e-file. Im then going to dehydrate the nail and then Base Coat. You dont need primer because you have the base coat. Im then going to apply the forms and use Honest Fitting. Im going to start with a thin layer on the nail. Im then going to get a big blob on the brush and go side to side to sweep the product onto the nail and a little bit onto the form for a bit of length. Cure and then go the other way, from free edge to cuticle to build out that free edge. Remove the sticky layer and then do the other nails, one at a time. Remove the form and then file the nail with the same routine as an acrylic nail but with a 180 grit file. Buff and then Top Coat. Im also going to use a bit of cuticle oil

I am going to give this stuff a try as soon as I possibly can It looks like it's fun to play with and new techniques and products are usually fun. 18: 30, I noticed a very weird, quiet background noise, that I _guess_ is meant to be music? But it's AWFUL It started about a minute and twenty seconds before I figured out what was making me feel so unsettled. I just knew I had a lingering uneasy feeling, and I think it was the music not the new product and technique The music, and I'm using that term loosely, sounds like the deep, low background noise of some kind of huge factory, or maybe the engine room of a great ship like the QE2, or maybe a mine, deep underground, but through noise cancelling headphones meant to protect one's hearing. Please don't use that industrial noise anymore. It's really awful

Kirsty & Adam, could you guys do a video on how to fit forms to tiny nails please? I did my neighbours nails with a builder in a bottle the other day but could only do it as an overlay on her short natural nails without any extension because her nails were too tiny to put my gigantic forms on lol. There has to be a way around it surely? Thanks in advance, I love builder in a bottle & have been using it on my right hand for a couple of months now, it's not the Naio brand but one that's just as good

I love that you identify and suggest what shape would look best based on the size and shape of the nail bed and fingers. I don't think everyone gets this. They just do whatever the client asks for. (hair dressers too customer brings in picture, says I want this cut/color, and the stylist doesn't mention your hair won't look like this, or this color will make you look washed out etc, everyones hair is different textures and thickness etc)

Ive never seen a builder gel that applies that way not one the moves loke that. I did nails when I was younger. I went to school at 18 years old. I'll be 49 Friday. You do the math. Lol. The gelsnI used backvthen never did like that nor did they burn while in the light. Indid noth acrylics, build and overlays plus gels build and overlays. Depended on client wants.

Is it possible to use the clear Builder in a Bottle to encapsulate glitter? I have a design I want to do for halloween using some of your black glitters, and would like to give this product a try. And if it's not possible, can I use clear acrygel to encapsulate glitter on top of a Builder in a Bottle extension?

My proximal fold and cuticles are so aggressive in their efforts to march right down to my free edge. What I didn't know is those pulls as I was calling them were them snapping back. I wondered why that stopped happening after I learned to do a dry Russian mani, guess I know finally.

can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a close up video explaining how you filed the nails when they come out looking just like hers did? My nails always come out looking that way and I have no idea how to file them correctly: / You did such a good job, but you make it look so damn easy: )

This looks like it would be great to just cap your natural nails so they can grow out longer. New wish item for when I get my ancient skills back up to par since its been about several years since I've done nails. This set looks FANTASTIC
