Grey Ombre Nails Kirsty Does Her Own Nails

Today were doing the other hand with a gorgeous grey powder that Ive been wanting to use for ages with an ombre. Im going to start by putting my tips on and then file the edges to straighten the side walls. Ill then remove the shine from the nail and blend the contact point. Im then going to prep the nail and start at the end with Charcoal Grey. Blend the edge down the nail to create a fade. Im then going to use Rose Glow at the cuticle area and blend down and over the grey. Im using Natural to increase the blend. Ill do my normal filing routine over all the nails. Im going to use Acrygel and Urban Graffiti Ultra Matte Top Coat to add my bling. Ill finish with cuticle oil

These are lovely I generally don't like ombres in which the tip is dark and the base is light, especially pink. Usually it reminds me of dirty nails. I can't help it, that's just how it looks to me. But not this ombre, even though it is a soft pink nail bed with dark gray tips-- _the_ classic dirty nails look. And yet, the fade is so perfect that it doesn't give me the heebie-jeebies. I can hardly wait to see what goes on the other three nails

I love that you say you love the pink and gray combo and we're looking at your hair like, we know, we love it too But I love that you did this, gray is my favorite color and has been for over 25 years

Whats your stance on nail techs and press on nails. I love the gel press on done by some. Whats the benefit of a traditional full set vs custom press on gel nails ( my preference)?
