I bite my nails SO badly like right down to the start of the hyponychium where it grows out. I have been biting my nails since I was a kid because I have anxiety and it became an everyday habit. if I have no nails left to bite, I will bite the skin around my nails, even the cuticle. I've had my nails done before in acrylic and I still have those urges to bite my nails so lightly chew on the fake nails. when the fake nails start to grow out and my real nail starts to show and I can see lifting from the fake nails, I will start to bite around the lift. I've painted my nails, put just nail polish remover on it when I would start to bite them and I still would bite them. do you have any recommendations on what could help me stop biting my nails so much?

I am probably one of the worst nail biters. Cheryl story resonates with me. I am learning to do my own acrylic or gel nails because I am sick of it. I have been keeping acrylics, glue on, or gel nails on over the past seven months or so. I pick on the acrylics too but luckily they are so strong that I remember to stop picking at my nail since I do it subconsciously. It was so embarrassing to go to a nail salon with my horribly bitten nails that I only went twice

Cheryl is so sweet You are such a GREAT instructor. I have learned what to look for in a proper nail technician, because the few times I've had mine done they never last. I wish I lived in the U. K. Fancy setting up a shop in Louisiana, USA? LOL Could you possibly explain what about your nail structure determines if you should get a gel or acrylic set. Thanks

What should you do when you get green fungus on your nails from gel nail extensions. Can you put on extensions on if you take on the extensions that has lifted then put the extensions back on before the green fungus is gone? I love watching your videos.

Kirsty, any chance of doing the occasional video of nail care tips and manicures for guys? You already have a willing model there with you to demonstrate how blokes can have our nails manicured and keep them looking in decent condition.

When she started to describe what she would do to her natural nails. omg, I felt so sorry for her and seeing that she has come a long way makes me so happy for her. I hope that she will eventually stop biting her nails.
