I'm back with my personal dermatologist Dr. Julie Russak for our final Dear Derm episode! In this video I ask her, why do I need to use a vitamin c serum? Everyone is talking about Vitamin C Serum, and there-s a lot of information out there about what it is! Dr. Russak explains what Vitamin C serum is, the benefits, when to use it and why you want to have it in your routine! Do you use a vitamin c serum in your routine? When do you put it on? How did you find information about it? Where did you find which Vitamin C to use? Do you use it for dark spots, a protectant or as an antioxidant? How do you educate yourself on skincare? What is the texture of your Vitamin C serum? Do you notice a difference when using it? Let me know in the comments below as I want to know if you use one or not?! Dr. Russak tells us what vitamin c really is and how it can benefit your skin. She even recommends when to start using it because at a certain age our body starts producing less collagen. It-s the one step in a routine she recommends not skipping and learning about this amazing ingredient may change your routine forever! How do you protect your skin during the day and how do you repair the skin at night? Do you have any certain issues or concerns with your skin? Is there a certain process you have or products you live by? Did you even know that Vitamin C can help rebuild collagen? If you use a Vitamin C serum do you use it 2x a day or just once? Do you use other forms of Vitamin C not in a serum form? If so, what kind? What other products are you using with Vitamin C? Do you use one brand or mix and match brands? Do you know if your products are compatible? Dr. Russak tells us the age you should start using vitamin c and helps us understand which form of vitamin c is best because there are a few. She explains how the environment affects our skin and how critical it really is in protecting our skin. I loved this episode with Dr. Russak because it was so helpful and I learned a lot more about Vitamin C. I will never leave my house without having this on my face! I hope you learned something and found this episode just as fascinating as I did. Thank you so much for joining me for our last Dear Derm episode! Let me know in the comments below if you find this video helpful and what you learned from it! I-d also love to know other questions you may have for Dr. Russak!

In Dr. Shereene Idriss-s YouTube video Let's Get Intimate: Vitamin C, she described tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate as the newest kid on the block and claimed it as the winner (found in your Vitamin C serum). I was very much looking forward to trying your 3-step Covey routine, but sadly, you do not deliver to Canada --

These videos demonstrate to us fairly clearly that you are not a skincare expert. I would be interested to know your reasoning and background for making a skincare brand - we are inundated with products to choose from and we need more than just your celebrity status in order to persuade us to try your products.

Hi -Emily Didonato , please make video about polaroid shoot makeup + tips for models. Because polaroid shoot is important for models.
Also Emily , i read your interview in Into the Gloss. They write lipstick color is Graped Up from Clinique. Is it true? Because you usually use Fuller Fig.

No offense, but how on earth do you have a skin care brand if you don't know the basics of skin care? Even I know all this stuff. Lol. Do they just let anyone have a skin care brand?

Hi Emily, you are so inspirational, good luck with your new product. I will definitely be trying it out soon! Just curious- Where are your products made and manufactured?

I do need vitamin C. The problem is most of them smell funny and sticky. They also lose their potency quite quickly even with refrigeration.
