You are only supposed to use it once a week and leave it in for 20 minutes. this should REPLACE shampoo not accompany it. yao women use this once a week as a way to wash their hair. they ferment the rice water for a week and let their hair soak for 20 minutes and then strain it out in a river.
interesting fact: yao women cut their hair once in their lives when they are 18 to symbolize becoming a women, and use their ponytail as an extension in their hairstyles for the rest of their lives

I have tried fermented rice water 2 times. I soak the rice for 12 hours then I sprayed it and leave it for 9-10 hours. then I rinse my hair with just water. But both the times, after rinsing, my hair just looks wet even after few hours. Can you recommend that after rice water when should I wash my hair with shampoo? it looks so wet or oily so I can not go to out with that hair.

okay i need serious help. i recently cut my baby hairs and it's in the awkward growing phase and it honestly looks horrible and i have no idea what to do. i have 3 dance performances coming up and the first one is in 20 days and we have to wear our hair slicked back and the baby hairs will show. i have no idea what to do. any ideas? help pls lol

Honestly your video was the shortest, straight to the point, & most helpful video on rice water. Thank you definitely going to make this today. I made it in the past but did the shampoo after rice water now I know why my hair had the reaction it had I didn't not know don't do that
