I too would like to see a comparison of brush cleaners, pros and cons of each so to speak and suggest including the brush cleaner spray made by It cosmetics. The It cleaner cleans very well and quickly and you can use the brush right away without any residue that would mess up a powder type cosmetic if using right away. A request, because I have only heard it mentioned on a few videos, but what is a good make up sanitizer, like make up artists use? A few times I have wanted to use one, but I also thought that since there is concern about beauty blenders or similar products developing bacteria on them, wouldn't spraying the beauty blenders, etc with the make up disinfectant help keep it clean? Just a thought. I haven't tried it because I need the name of a good makeup disinfectant and where to purchase. Thank you to anyone who knows the info and will share. :)

Tati, you simply ROCK You are SO honest while still being kind and gentle about products that don't work for you. Even your Videos titled things like Products That Suck Your kind heart shines through, making you my top favorite to watch here on YouTube Thank you I have A GREAT ALTERNATIVE for the Beauty Blender Hard Soap Cleanser, and MUCH more affordable, (Not that the name-brand hard soap Beauty Blender cleanser is BAD, it's just really pricey for a bar of soap): I use a bar of Antibacterial Soap, the same as I use in the shower Safeguard specifically. I keep a bar in a cup where I keep my BBs then just grab it and clean my BB after I'm finished with all my makeup. AND, I nuke it in the Microwave once a week. Easy, and much more affordable than the name-brand Beauty Blender Bar Cleanser. Hope this helps

I have to disagree with you about the Blotterazzi. It's one of my holy grails The issue with powder for me is that it starts to look caked, and I never found a compact powder I loved. With blotting tissues, there is the waste factor. The Blotterazzi is great for my oily skin because it sucks up the oil mid day, it's in a slim compact so it fits perfectly in even a clutch, it doesn't smudge your makeup, and there is no waste. I also like having a sponge on the go to help clean up lipstick mishaps or any other unexpected smudges throughout the day. I love that it comes with blottera, so if one gets dirty I have another one handy. If you have oily skin, I highly recommend.

I love the Beauty Blender so much. I feel like it doesnt break down or rip as easily as the Real Techniques or Sonia one so I feel that that makes it worth the 20. Just because I dont have to replace it as often. However I feel like with all sponges, if I use a more full coverage foundation, it stains the big side of it and it feels almost like its thick and gunked up in there and I can never get it completely out. Ive tried all sorts of cleaners including their own brand but I can never get it completely out. :/ but thats the only thing I hate about this sponge, or any sponge.

Thank you, Tati I always thought it wasn't worth the hype as it's really expensive in my country, but I trust you, so you convinced me haha I'm going to save some money so I buy it. Which brushes do you think that are absolutely necessary so I built up my collection? I'm a make - up lover but I have few brushes and they are not of the best quality as the good ones have crazy prices. I would like to buy better ones as they make all the difference, so that's why I ask you for your help. Thank you a lot

I think that 20 for a beauty blender isn't that highly priced because of the really good quality and you can you use it for so many different things, where as if you buy a brush, they're usually more than 20 and you can usually use it for one thing only. Although in Canada, the beauty blender is 30 and Idk if I should buy it TBH, cause like brushes, they wear out overtime. This is just my opinion, but definitely, if I'm ever visiting U. S, I'll pick some up.

I got the Blotterazzi in a Sephora favorites box and I personally really like it. It's very small so for when I go out I just stick it in my wallet and I think it picks up better sometimes than regular blotting papers and i don't have to worry about trashing the paper, just stick it back in my wallet hah. HOWEVER, if I didn't get it in the box, I wouldn't buy it separate. I rather buy the regular beautyblender for the hefty price point.

If youre a person on a budget like I am just buy some guitar picks instead of wasting 16 bucks on the liner designer. Ive been doing it for years and it works perfectly. If its not sticking to your face use a little primer or moisturizer and bam it sticks, or hell you can lick it and stick it whatever works for you. I personally love my liner when I use a guitar pick, its sharp and straight and perfect.

I know everyone says 20 for the sponge is ridiculous, and it is, but trust me it is worth it I've used brushes to do makeup my whole life. I had been eyeing the BB for such a long time bc so many swear by it. I gave in and bought it and I have not applied my foundation/concealer with anything other than my beauty blender since I got it. It's amazing and leaves my makeup looking so smooth and nice

Tati, It's been almost 3 years since you filmed this video. So I'm curious, have you found a dupe? I haven't used a real beauty blender yet, I just bought the micros, but I've used several different brands. I really like all the ones I've bought from Real Techniques. And they double in size when wet, unlike the others I have. The brushes from them are really good, also.
