This was a really good video Tati, didn't think there was a difference between using hands and using a blender for foundation but I DEFINITELY saw the differences Also the pinpoint concealing tecgnique was pretty good to know, and the pore primers, and setting spray do make a difference( Im all taking notes in my head XD ) Next time I go makeup shopping definitely gonna buy a blender and good primer and foundation and setting products, THANK YOU The 'Dos' side if your face looks FLAWLESS Youre very talented

Am I the only one where if I use primer and setting spray my makeup breaks apart faster and looks cakey? Like if I use it, my makeup looks better when I first apply it but it breaks down really quickly but if I don't my makeup stays looking smooth for much longer. I have oily skin with lots of acne just for reference, and using oil-control primers and setting sprays make me mega oily too. Am I doing something wrong?

What I am having a problem with is that primers are all normally oil free and for someone like me who is the way more dry side, i need the oil lol I need as much moisture as i can not just from my foundation and concealer which are both liquid but i feel like my primer needs to also be supplying me with moisture instead of taking it away. Hahah i wish there were more oil based primers cause my face would benefit

Another great primer for people who dont need a lot of pore filling and also dont like when products feel heavy on their face is the Hard Candy Sheer Envy Ultra Light Formula primer. Ive used it for years and I absolutely love it. You barely feel it on your face but it makes a smooth base and I could gush about it forever. Its also a Walmart exclusive brand so its super affordable

Honestly, at 12: 31 before you put the highlighter on, the DONT side was looking better to me Except the blending at the eye obviously. But really, without using primer and just using your hand to apply the foundation - all that was missing was to quickly blend around the eye (and if there was a heavy patch somewhere) with a sponge and it would be a winner.

Do you use any kind of powder? Like face powder, transparent powder, etc? Should I not be using it? edit. apparently I didnt get far enough in the video. lol. But I realize maybe I'm using it at wrong points in my routine. hahaha. second edit. I'm also doing the highlighter wrong Dang it I better watch more and more of your videos. Thanks Tati

I'm so embarrassed to say that up until this last year I use to just use my fingers and rub my foundation all over my face. No primer. No brush. No beauty blender. Just ma fingers flapping foundation all over my face. And I'm 26. So that's cool. Also didn't do my eyebrows until like 2 years ago.

I used to work in a hotel, those cups you flip upside down to put your makeup on, arent that clean. Dont even drink from them. People who have trained me use the same rag to wipe the sink, the counter and the cups. Its gross. It's not everyone but alot of the people dont care. Unfortunately
