I feel like you put very little effort into the application and you applied wayy to much. You didnt take into account you have mature skin, that much foundation and it being so high coverage accentuated your flaws, any foundation with as much powder as you used is going to look powdery (because its powder. Not only that but you didnt set the correct areas on your face well based in the amount of product you used. You settled on a color that does not match. You received a whole box of every color. You could have mixed them to get a flattering color for your skin tone or put a tad bit more effort into finding the correct shade. Not hate but I think a lot of why it didnt come out well or last long has to do with how you applied it.

Gonna respectfully disagree. I wear it daily. I wear Fair 10 (Pink undertones) and it's one of the few foundations that are THAT pale WITHOUT the yellow undertones (thank goodness. I haven't noticed an oily finish at the end of the day, I have very normal skin. The concealer. works? I feel it's alright. Don't exactly have the money to try out the more expensive brands to see if they fail or work, let alone come in light enough for me (Fair 02)I have never tried the powders (I have tons left of my current one (which is average, nothing special) and have yet to need new ones. Probably will purchase there though. But make up is makeup. Different for everyone.

Omg YES. I literally googled colourpop negative review and found this Bc I was SO hyped for this foundation because so cheap and sooooo many rave reviews (including Jeffree star who I worship his opinion) and I have the SAME ISSUES as her. Ive changed primers, put less, put more. changes setting sprays and by the middle of the day at work I am mortified with how bad my skin looks. It like builds within my lines, the middle of my chin is patchy. Im wondering do I need the colourpop pop primer? But I use 40? Cover fx anti acne primer that I LOVE and works with everything else so Im confused. Im honestly just relieved I thought I was bugging out lol

I just got mine and I wanted to love it so bad But a lot of what happened to Tati I experienced as well. I have yellow undertones so I was not concerned about the foundation looking yellow. Well, this was YELLOW. Like overly yellow, undertone? NAH. Just yellow. Then the foundation proceeded to cling to every crease in my face and to badly cake. I hated it so much that after running some errands I came back home to wash my face. Ugh. To be fair, I do think maybe I applied too much product. Ill give it another try, but using like maybe one pump only (or less)

Tati this is exactly what happened to me when Im wearing this foundation I was so confused about all the raving good reviews on the internet so Ive given it many many times of try but now I just have to admit that IT DOES NOT WORK FOR ME I have oily skin and the foundation just kinda sits on my skin and doesnt sink it at all By the end of the day they get crease and patchy and I can easily smear them off my face like a layer of powder I really dont know how it works so well for other people I guess it really depends on different skin types

For me, I love the foundation. The price is really great and its one of the few brands that has multiple mediums that are not medium dark and aren't so cool that I look grey. I think she used the wrong concealer too. The site will recommend concealers based on whatever shade of foundation you use. Maybe she would like the foundation stick more or maybe if she used the Colorpop primer as well? Interesting take but I am pro this foundation so shrug. Still love me some Tati feedback though so there is that.

I have read and watched several reviews where people have tried it with the smashbox primer and didnt like the foundation. Several people tried it again with different primer and then actually really liked the foundation. Would love to see Tati try this again with a different primer to see if it makes any difference. Even if Tati has used this primer lots before it might just not mix well with this foundation.

I love Colour pop and was really excited to try this foundation (especially after all the positive reviews I had seen. It was AWFUL on my skin. I couldn't blend it out (tried with blender and with brush) and it seemed to slip around even though I have dry skin. So relieved to watch your experience and know that I'm not the only person on the planet that this foundation doesn't work for

I tried the concealer again earlier today. This time, I used small dots and worked it in section by section with sort of a buffing motion and it went on like a dream this time. It even made the pore issue on my nose disappear First time I tried it, I went ham on the concealer and I had the same experience as yours - it was caca. But after testing it again today - love: )
