Pecan Groves Look Like Enchanted Forests Smowl: I love this video. I'm in a bit of a dark spot in my life right now, and this made me feel. I don't even know how to describe it. Content, I suppose? But in a really, really good way. The music, the sound design in general, your voice, the visuals, and just the overall atmosphere of the video put me at ease more than any of those ASMR/Meditation/relaxation/etc vids that are literally made for that sole purpose. I hope you do more content like this.

Nice job branching out into a different style One constructive criticism though. To me, it seems like your speech trails off like you're about to say something else immediately after. In your normal videos thats fine because you talk fast. In these slow videos you need to change your sentence structure. For example at 0: 54, you could change it to something like: Pecans need lots of water, so the farmers keep the ground free of underbrush and debree. This reduces competition for hydration and nutrition from the soil. [pause] Keeping the ground neat as a pin, also discourages pests, letting the farmers harvest the nuts, once they fall to the ground. [pause] Whatever is left over is shaken off by machines, then scooped up along with the others. I think the weirdness comes from tacking on little bits of information at the end. Keep your sentences inflecting downward, with pauses increasing in length. I think avoiding conjunctions would be a good idea. Thanks for reading I love your videos

This was an awesome change of pace, and a beautiful video. It struck me with real Parts Unknown vibes, very cinematic and contemplative. I think many of us would be thrilled to see you sprinkle in some more whimsical videos, or just things you want to make that aren't the normal fast-paced instructional content. Keep on keepin' on, we're not going anywhere.

You know I was having a really stressful day and then I got to see Adam talk about pecan groves and I find out that he made the music and genuinely enjoyed the production of this video and now I feel a lil bit more calm

this is really cool i love the usual videos you put out but this is still a nice and different direction to be taking also i adore the music, it's placed well inbetween the narration segments and just sounds really good: )

I'd argue that the video is almost as magical as the forests, in its forests and ambient music all around solid video. Hope you make more videos like this or at least break the norm with different videos like this.

I feel this kind of video needs. better writing. Not to be rude, you are great at instructions, but this needs more atmosphere. Either by better writing or a different delivery. Still, I hope you had fun making this.

it's interesting how the smaller plants seem to be spaced much more closely together than the older plants. I wonder if they will thin them out later or if this is a more intensity of farming

The stress of taking 1. 5x more credit hours than I have fingers has been really wearing me down. I didn't know how much I needed to see this today until the video was over. Thank you Adam.

I liked the music, visuals and style of video - enchanted is correct - I'm left in a kind of mystical, reaffirmed state of. something good in the universe or something like that.
