Did anyone tell you that you remind them of that girl Phoebe on the TV show Friends? Anyways, I made the donuts today. I had to lower the temp to maybe 290-300, cooks slower but gets cooked on the inside which is what we all want. If you use powdered sugar, let the donuts cool first or it becomes pasty. But if you use cinnamon sugar, dip it in while it's warm. For those counting calories, it's around 54 calories each before frying (that's if you can get 40 out of the batch like I did.

We did mesquite smoked beef ribs, roasted sweet potatoes, butternut squash and carrots with brown sugar, butter and rosemary. and Pumpkin Porter beer from our local Tempe AZ brewery. Your donuts were the perfect dessert for this. Freakin' outstanding.

yeah! the only think i ever bake is pumpkin bread. i will make the bread or i will make it as a muffin or cupcake. that is the extent to my baking. plus i actually like pumpkin sweet treats!
