Being inherently lazy, I let the guys at the fish market peel and de-vein mine. They give me a good deal because I've been buying there for millenia.
The batter looks perfect, a corn dog with shrimp inside. And yeah, it's much like a hush-puppy batter. I've gotta make a few of these tomorrow. I could even call them dinner and serve them with a salad to offset the cholesterol. Yum!

Would you be able to do something like this but bake it in the oven.
I think it would be a fun idea to show/tell how to make a lot of these fried foods in the oven for people, like me, who don't really know anything about cooking.

I looove Daisy! My lil Ozzy also snacks in style. Ozzy has been known to get his very own sushi roll (sans wasabe) and even a steak once a year on his birthday. You should have Daisy as a guest host on an episode like Frances from Cooking with Dog.

Why am I allergic to shellfish? WHHHYYY? Hilah, they look lovely, but in the interest of staying alive, i'm going to have to take a pass on this recipe. Perhaps i'll do corndogs instead! :D

I made your lemon bars, they taste super good but I think there's a bit too much crust. I probably messed up something though by using regular sugar instead of powdered for it.

Oh my gosh, i want to try this fried goodness for the superbowl! If you dont have a frydaddy can you use a regular deep pan and oil? Daisy didn't even chew that did she? Lol cutie!
