How To Make Frozen Yogurt - Hilah Cooking
video description
It was a huge hit! I liked it so much more than homemade icecream. I've always found the icecream I make gets crystals and sometimes is gritty from the undissolved sugar. This was smooth and tangy. I didn't add the booze (I was afraid child welfare would cart of my kids) but added an extra dash of vanilla extract (booze in disguise. It is best right out of the machine. This one might work without the machine too.

My favourite ice-cream is green tea ice-cream! and Red bean ice-cream (surprising yummy) And the first time I ever successfully make ice-cream was recently when I was trying to make chocolate pudding and it didn't thicken very much so I put it in the freezer for a bit (okay. I wasn't very smart that time) and I left for few minutes or a an hour, my bad! so it froze, I mixed it, freeze and mix, repeat and it made very yummy ice-cream! Ingredients: cream, chocolate, and a bit of sugar.

ANOTHER MUST MAKE! Oh, yes, after the satay chicken this is the great dessert! absolutely fantastic. When I saw you put the nuts in the skillet and you poured the maple syrup, my stomach was going wild! and then when you scooped out the cream from the machine. oooooooh, that is sooo perfect! I have a similar icecream machine, but in my one you have to pour the cream inside while it is already working, otherwise everything gets stuck and difficult to stir, yours looks easier.

I also wanted to add that I plugged this recipe into an app on my iPhone for the nutritional info (without nuts. I figured it makes about 6 servings with 192 calories per serving, Total Fat 6. 6g, Saturated 3. 9g, Sodium 45. 8mg, Total Carbs 23. 2g, Fiber 0. 4g, Sugars 17. 8g, Protein 8. 3g Vitamin A 5. 2%, Calcium 23. 4%, Iron 2%.
I think 1 serving is about 1 cup (the fluid measure expands when whipped and frozen. High protein, pretty low in sugar, delicious, I'm happy!

If you don't have an ice cream machine pour it into a flat pyrex dish or rectangle baking tin. Freeze for 1 hour and crush it with a wooden spoon till its slushy, freeze again for 2 hours and crush again. Alternately, you can crush it in a food processor. You want to break up the ice crystals until it is smooth so it might take an additional 2 hours of freezing and crushing. Finally, freeze it for 3-4 hours and pack into a container.

Is it icy right away, as soon as you scoop it from the machine, or does it get icy after freezing it in the freezer? If it's the former, try adding some liquor or corn syrup to your recipe next time (a tablespoon or two of one or the other. If it's the latter, well, the booze or corn syrup will help, but it is always a little more crystally than storebought in my experience.

I love ice cream that has a salty/sweet combination, or some bitterness (like dark chocolate. I've made homemade maple and bacon sundaes, which are delicious and would be really simple with this homemade froyo.
I also like lavender-flavored ice cream, which is hard to get but amazing nonetheless.

-so that's cool. it's sweetened naturally with the blood of trees. - I love how you word your phrases! They're always so jaunty and fun: ) Ex, see how I wrote what you said but it didn't come with a zang? It's flat. With you it sings; )

There always been this weird machine stuck in the back of my pantry. I wondered what it was, but didn't care enough to figure out. Your video has shown me what it is.
. I have an ice cream maker.
Thanks Hilah!
