Making feijoada with friends from Brazil! Feijoada is a Brazilian specialty of beans, meat, rice, collard greens. Feijoada recipe below murderface: better to use white rice than parboiled rice. also, you need to find a pressure pan to cook the beans. its time saving and costs less (and later you can use to make some soups faster. especially, if you want to make brazilian Chicken Canja. I would also add bacon to feijoada. and paio is different from other sausages, like calabresa. also, you could add carne seca (dry meat)

I always made myself a similar dinner, except I used ground beef or chorizo instead of sausages, and I used Fresh moringa leaves, Swiss chard or whatever leafy greens. The Vitamin C definitely helps your body digest and absorb the nutrients. I squeeze lemon onto my rice and beans instead of oranges.

Really interesting to see a different way of doing feijoada. I usually just cook the beans in chickenstock, in the pot I coloured the sausage/bacon in, and I add onion, garlic, carrots & thyme/rosemary to it. Will have to try the oranges & collard greens next time. Great video: )

Mom my was from Brazil. we never really paid attention to how she made it. big mistake.
Be sure to get involved. write down how to.
Mom passed away and dearly miss her. she was a great cook and baker.

It's not like that, the stew has many kinds of meat besides sausages, and it's seasoned with parsley, not coriander. We also don't use chicken bouillon that much, but the intention of the video was good.

Nice girl nice video good food and gorgeous little boy and precise and brief explanations perfect. Try it with a nice wholesome bread in a cold day won-t be disappointed. Thanks

The idea of the orange is to help on the digestion because the pork parts can be very fatty. Now to be fair, feijoada for lunch and the next step is a nap. LOL

Love the commentary during your videos, I had to chuckle, you remind me of myself, mind going a mile a minute. In my case, it's almost overwhelming at times!
