This LOOKS/appears better than some of these USA steak houses. Often i see the meat BURNT, yes i understand the searing idea and keeping the meat tender but BLACK on the outside is AWFUL. I would have to actually eat these to get a real understanding because grizzly/tough steak is a zero imo and the score goes up from there. As to FLAVOUR, well again i would have to actually try it rather than trust someone else's word. Flavor can be achieved simply with salt but salt is bad health so pulling off great flavor w/o salt is a trick, pepper is also a very good simple spice.

Luger's is so overrated. The servers are rude/ pretentious, the menu is very limited and it's cash only. There's a place a few blocks away from Luger's, Amber's, which was so much more enjoyable. With so many prime steakhouses, it's time that luger's drop the attitude, re-train the staff to remind them that they're waiters and not steak overlords and maybe enter the modern era and take cards, so their customers don't have to carry 500 cash on them!

seeing the comments about the girl makes me never want to be featured in a video or on tv even though idk if we have any other similarities other than us both being young asian women who aren't super charismatic (im probably more socially unpleasant than her) (and not that i wanted to be in media anyway)

She was clearly so nervous around this guy who had a lot of knowledge about steaks. Her video on the super authentic Chinese restaurant is really good and show she really knows what she's talking about. Here she just seems to be playing the co-host role which is wierd.

Good steak but this place has real crappy service. Staff is unionized so the there is no real incentive for them to do a good job. Also I have the same microbes that's in their age box so I can age a 38 day porterhouse much richer than what they offer.

She looks kinda disgusted by the food. he looks super excited and with great energy. not trying to hate but she was just not into it. the way she ate made me think she felt almost forced to eat, 0 enjoyment. Im not sure if she is right for the series.

Have you seen the back side where they do the unloading carcasses down to the basement on a conveyor? It is not as pleasant to watch. They have loads of meats on the dirty truck floor kicking it with their dirty boots to move the meats around.

I'll age and cook my own steak! It's so much cheaper and I can play with different cooking techniques! Save your money and do this yourself! Sterling beef in Oklahoma is just the flavor bomb! And aging it for about two weeks just is perfect!

Peter Luger's worth a visit! Porterhouse for two is a good start. Definitely do not forget to order the bacon and the lamb chops just like the video. One time I lunched there with my Mom, son, and daughter, our lunch was 200! Peace.
