At Sushi Sho in Hawai'i, Chef Keiji Nakazawa has assembled a master team of sushi apprentices to make one of the best omakase outside of Japan. AlphaIkaros: I am always captivated and immersed by these kind of documentaries. Maybe its because how skilled, professional, and passionate Japanese chefs work to make their dishes. I've always dreamt of visiting Japan and experience eating in their sushi restaurants. What's a little extra money spent just to get a once-in-a-lifetime experience?

I miss sushi in japan or sushi by Japanese chef. I Live in USA for two years. Ive eat sushi by Korean, Chinese, Mexican or whatever chef here. They just kill rice and fish. They dont know sushi at all. Its sad people think its sushi. And think yummy. 100 dollar sushi here taste like 30 cent instant ramen for me

Most sushi videos/chef's are the same or have a very small differences in fish used, techniques and preparations. This is very unique in that most all products are local to them and most I've not heard of; But they are beautifully crafted and molded to bring new experiences to the customers. Awesome Video.

I know what you're saying, but I can't make it clear whether or not the young people of today can understand it. Don't let me get through. You're saying this doesn't make it so popular for kids to open the shop. You're the most important thing now to be more soft and gentle.

Why over complicate things I understand the hard work but its just not right working over decades as a helperAnd the food to make it expensive you find a way to make it complicated. Please make life easy, not over complicate for you and for Customers.

Traditional sushi shops are run no differently than Buddhist Monasteries. The preparation is their meditation, everyone does their part and their goal is to constantly improve their skills and connection with their craft. This is beautiful

Im always amaze by Japanese chefs. They do everything by heart and understand that chefs value is not only in the skill but in the heart as well. Seems like every movement has a meaning. Hopefully I can visit his restaurant someday!

Chef Nakazawa: There was an idea. To bring together a group of extraordinary ple, so that when the time comes for dinner, they would make tasting menu dishes that the customers never could. (Avengers theme music)
