Learn how to frost a cake like a pro! In this video I teach you how to get a perfectly smooth cake using basic tools. Ugochi: -Emma goodies. Hello Emma, I used your chocolate muffins recipe and it was divine! Loved it. I want to try your vanilla cake recipe, how long does it keep for cause l want to bake it for my uncle's priestly ordination 2days before the ordination as its going to be in another state and its summer over here. I'll really like to know. Does it last up to a week? Or will adding alcohol help preserve it without ruining the cake? Your videos are so helpful you have no idea.

OK, those are some fantastic tips! I feel like maybe I can hope to get a good results frosting cakes now! --A couple of questions about adjusting the consistency of the frosting to get it just right: either for the initial stages of frosting; or for that final stage where it needs to be stiffer. Is the way to adjust the consistency to always follow the standard recipe, but chill it in the fridge for a certain about of time? If so, how long do you typically refrigerate a bowl of frosting to take it up a notch in stiffness?

She is right guys, I tried her frosting method. My first attempt was pretty much successful. using plastic bags is totally mess. Spatula so far best for cake. Unless you are making two shade design. And only practice make this perfect.

-You'd be suprised how many professional kitchens dont have the propper equiptment- i actually laughed out loud at this. No, i wouldnt be suprised. Whenever i start working in a new kitchen i assume that they DONT have what i need.

Hi Emma, your videos are so so amazing. I would really appreciate if you could tell me which frosting works the best for a mirrored glaze, a ganache, butter cream or a mousse frost. Thank you so much.
