Hi Emma- I have made your wonderful lemon curd recipe several times now as a filling for my french macarons. The only question I have is- are you able to freeze the macarons with the lemon curd filling? Will it be okay, or is it better not to? I have a family event coming up, and I want to make the french macarons with the lemon curd filling ahead of time at least two weeks ahead of time and freeze them until the event. Please advise. Thanks!

I did this recipe it was delicious. I made it with passionfruit, because I did not have many lemons at home. I also added only one tablespoon of corn starch because it was my first time doing it. I only added a small piece of butter, because I did not have much butter at home. I added the same amount of passionfruit as she asks for the lemon. I may be strained but I find the taste better if some of the seeds are left.

sorry, but I have one question. visiting the South of England we bought rose flavored curd and I would like to ask if your recipe would also work with that? I can buy rose flavored sirup and substitute the lemon juice but I fear this would not be acidic enough? Any idea, I want to surprise someone special.

I'll try this one right now since Im always making Lemon pie, my favorite. This one looks so good and the fact it's made with whole eggs makes it better as it will last longer than a few days unlike the ones only made with yolks. At least that's what a baker told me once.

I love this recipe but am wondering would it be possible to replace the lemons for oranges? Would the recipe have to be adjusted in other areas I wonder given that the oranges are not as strong as lemons, any advice would be very gratefully received, -Thanks

YOUR RECIPIES LOOK AMAZINGGGG but i would really appreciate if u would maybe mention the portion it makes to help family bakers now how much they need to double or dived the recipe so we wouldnt make any extra or end up having not enough for the recipe: )

Okay but why did this turn out so perfectly on my first try - and it tastes so good! Normally I'm not a fan of citrus based desserts and I'm making this for my partner, but i just might end up eating more slices of the lemon tart than him!
