Red Velvet Cake Recipe from scratch with a delicious white chocolate cream cheese frosting. This cake makes a great Christmas Cake because of it's stunning decoration and warm flavors. Wow Emma, this cake couldn-t be more beautiful! So pretty & I can certainly attest to the fact that your desserts are amazing. Whatever you say is gold because everything I-ve made from you is just as you describe in your videos. You-re the best & so talented. Love red on you it-s so pretty- I-m telling you I-m totally with ya on the pomegranate. The Lord always amazes me with His creations. Beautiful lady and a beautiful cake - Hi Emma, where I live, cream cheese is a little hard to find. So can you please suggest a homemade recipe that tastes closest to the Philadelphia cream cheese. I see a lot of variations of cream cheese. Some add sour cream to cottage cheese and some fresh cream. But what's the right ratio and right ingredients that will taste a lot like Phil. Cream Cheese. Does the real one tatse a little sour? I really would like to know and learn. Please advice. Thanks

Emma you are so creative, the flavour combination of this cake looks so delicious, and I love how you gave the cake a ruby chocolate flavour (because ruby chocolate basically tastes like a blend white chocolate and raspberries and some milk chocolate, which I heard in a review) without adding actual ruby chocolate since it-s not easily available. Have you ever had a ruby chocolate? I haven-t, so I want to know whether it tastes good or not.

this cake design wise is probably one of the prettiest cakes youve made! i love pomegranate as well! such dainty little fruit jewels! and that frosting is so silky looking! has me wondering though, could you use cream cheese & butter in a meringue based frosting? ive always wanted to try a cream cheese swiss meringue butter cream but was too apprehensive to try. amazing recipe!

Middle aged -cake lady- here. I have found if you pop the cheese into the freezer for 20 minutes AND the mixing bowl, you can beat it longer, and you'll have fewer issues with the cheese softening when you add the butter/chocolate mixture. This will give you firm but fluffy icing that can be handled more easily.

Hi Emma. I noticed that in this cake, there is 3 thick layers. Whereas, your actual Red Velvet cake video shows 2 thick layers. -I tried the cake recipe but I didn't yield a thick 3 layers cake (like in this video. It was a 3 thin layers. -Just wanted to ask, if you doubled the recipe for a thicker layer?

Beautiful! I made red velvet yesterday with cream cheese frosting. I had white chocolate in my cart n i forgot it at the store ------- so i just made it with reg cream cheese frosting. Now i have to do this again! WITH YOUR AWESOME IDEA OF USING THAT DELICIOUS FRUIT ---
