Hi chef. Recipe looks very tasty and thinking of making them for a party this weekend. My only concern is that the party is not at my house, so I have to drive. It's not long distance, but since there's the melted cheese and all, will it be better to prepare everything but the cheese, and then pop them in the oven at my friend's house, or will it be ok if I bake everything then put it in foil containers to keep the food warm for the journey?

Chef John. thank you so much for all your culinary efforts I think your YouTube show is so enjoyable, informative and delectable Its a lot of hard work but please keep going with it Dont think you get enough credit honestly. I would like to see more traditional American-Jewish cuisine. think Russ and Daughters I would love to see a pickled herring or chopped liver episode. Once again thanks for keeping my interest in cooking and food Well done

Chef John, when I was a kid approx 1000 years ago marinara was red sauce that had mushed up anchovies in it - mar is sea, right? Now in the modern age plain old red sauce is called marinara. What's up? Did we fall back on the marinara tomato, and where did the anchovies go? There can't be enough pizzas for them all to find work. T y.

I hate to ever share you with anyone I know because you have made me a hit party after holiday party after every get together on earth. People really believe I make this shit happen but you are too over the top not to have your own daytime hour. Happy new year chef john thanks for all the laughs

never understood the point of making round meatballs. they don't fit on a sub very good and hard to eat cause they are round. also in spaghetti would rather just put in ground beef chopped up so you get some meat in every bite. otherwise you will have a lot of spaghetti left and no meat to finish it with.

Can I use Parker House rolls? I don't really care but just wanted to see if using that hotel's name would get my comment deleted as has happened before. Evidently someone at YouTube thinks Parker House rolls is a trademarked name or something. Hawaiian rolls are better anyway.

If you never had Fontina cheese before, it's kinda like mozzarella, only with flavour. mozzarella has flavour, a really good flavour as well, but I understand why you'd be mistaken if you've only tried the low moisture, or the pre-grated stuff why you wouldnt understand

Just made these tonight. They were fun to assemble and came out pretty darn good A few tweaks because my oven is temperamental, the buns came out a bit dark. I'll be adjusting things tomorrow when I make them again.

Just tried these tonight and wow So amazing. Substituted fontana cheese for some marble but went with the real parmesan and it was spectacular Going to be a staple in my household going forward.
