Gordon goes to these places to try and help the people pull themselves together and end up better than before Gordon came, and it seems like more often than not, they take his help for granted. If I owned a restaurant or something and Gordon Ramsay came to help me out, Id welcome it with open arms.

It doesnt matter if youre a mom and pop shop or a fortune 500 company, micromanaging is a death sentence to your business. Thats how you push good employees out the door, more than likely forcing you to hire someone on thats worse and incompetent.

You can have the nicest, most modern hotel in the US, but if you have an obsessive, fussy, ungrateful, deluded moron working in it. it will fail. Assess the owner before making such an investment to renovate a hotel.
