How To Fill, Crumb-Coat and Ice Cakes with Buttercream LIKE A PRO! Lesa: July 26th was Grandparents day and I got very inspired after watching your videos to make the cake I failed at leveling the cake properly so I covered it up with a really thin layer of fondant and I felt so embarrassed till my mom came and told me that the fondant had to be thick. She rolled up another layer of fondant and it looked perfect. After all if this, I'd like to ask if you could do One video just summing up all your tricks and tips.

How on earth did it take me so long to find you! Thank goodness I was searching for a 'simple syrup for cakes' how-to. Love your videos. They are informative, educational, and downright entertaining. A wickedly talented 'cake diva' (meant in the best possible way) with personality plus. Can't wait to see more. PS - Love your tip about plopping the frosting on top of the cake while crumb-coating - genius! :-)

Hi Yolanda! Just discovered your video! Great job! I wish I had your kitchen! My cake-frosting is fine but my cakes, although tasty, arent as beautiful as yours! They burn in the edges while staying gummy in the middle! Can you help me with vanilla cake recipes? (Im gonna try your chocolate one today! Yeah)Thank you! Jules in Rhode Island

this is my favorite video of yours because it is the video that inspired me to start baking. before I watched it I just used to make cakes with no frosting, because I thought it was to hard. but after I watched it I bought piping tips, a bench scraper, and a cake comb, and since then I can never stop #fanlovefeb

How do you not completely butcher a crumb coat and have your cakes completely straight instead of lopsided? idk if my frosting is too hard or I don't let my cakes cool enough before crumb coating but so many chunks of the cake fall out while i crumb coat the sides fml
