How to make CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT CAKES with Eggnog Buttercream and Candy Cane Chocolate Cake! milkandhoney84: I tried making the whole egg buttercream twice. both times it never came together. I beat it for 30 minutes and even added more butter. 2. 5 lbs butter wasted. What could have gone wrong? I've mastered Swiss and Italian meringue buttercream, but this one beat me.

#FanLoveFeb I will never forget the day you released this video & I watched it for the first time. My spirits were really low that morning and these cakes you made cheered me up so much. Christmas decor is always fun but yours are even better than fun!

I wish I could attach a picture in the comments. I had to stop the video to take a call (at work, watching your vids - LOL, and it caught your facial expression right as you realized you had almost knocked Dasher over. It's priceless! Hahaha

Have you been tasting too much of that brandy? You look and sound a bit tipsy: ) Merry Christmas Yolanda and thank you for the tutorials. Love all your cakes but this one I think even I could make. BTW the Gift Box Cake is my 2nd favorite.

love all your videos and cake creations! I wanted to ask you whats the difference between using gold luster dust and gold highlighter both powders? Aren't they both pretty much edible in small amounts?

Why do you use the rum instead of 190 proof everclear? Could I use the everclear? I ask because I don't keep much alcohol at all, but I keep everclear as an antiseptic in lieu of rubbing alcohol.

This was my first Christmas as a part of the How To Cake it family. I have enjoyed all the movies and look forward to see my VIP email every week for the next cake to be created! #FanLoveFeb
