Jamie Presents. My Virgin Kitchen Our friend Barry makes a great Pulled Pork Burrito. MVK style! (part 2 of 2. FoodDeconstructed: I'll repeat what the Brilliant Tom Lakin said. This isn't a British thing. We live in California (potentially the burrito capital of the USA, if not the entire world, outside of Mexico) and we can almost NEVER find a burrito without rice. Everyone from big chain restaurants (Chipotle) down to little burrito stands put rice in theirs. Sure, there's some gnarly carb on carb action going on, but sometimes you need a little extra carb-ery. Ricey burritos are perfect for soaking up hangovers

Nope its trued, in America all burritos come wrapped with Rice. whether you find it weird or not thats how it is. Also since when is there rules about cooking you fools? Cooking is all about experimenting and not doing things always so traditionally is what makes some dishes all of a sudden amazing. You know nothing about food some of you fools commenting.

One things for sure my videos always create some good banter in the comments section lol. can't we all just get along? Who would have thought Burritos could cause such a stir! I can see Oprah now booking us all in 'Burritos aren't part of my culture' etc chill guys, it's just a cooking video!

We found that the thing that got us cooking as teens was our mom refusing to cook for us if we complained about dinner. Don't like it? You don't have to eat it. Here's a cookbook. Make something you want. Worked like a charm. We got what we wanted, mom got dinner cooked for her.

Not sure where you're from, but this isn't British food? Burritos come from the New World and I've never had one without rice on either side of the Atlantic. So don't address your offensive remarks to Britain, but to the Americas, where I've heard burritos are fairly popular.

well it could taste good but you're using a ton of ingredients and so many dirty dishes to create food that is supposed to serve for a party, don't think i wanna go through all that trouble to be honest, i'll sleep before the party is getting started

Alrighty, ummmm it looks real tasty, but living here in TEXAS a big BBQ state. It just seems weird to put beans, especially kidney beans, in the shredded pork. lol. Interesting though, enjoyed watching it though: )

Coleslaw is really good on most marinated beefs and porks, really brings me back to some good memories at home. Please make more videos Barry, really loving the home cooking.
