Chunky Banana Ketchup with DJ BBQ #02 DJ: Than I am screwed, Hunter. I've been talking this way for decades. Damn. I ain't trying to be hip. I'm the biggest dork I know and you called me out. Nice. I am also a writer so I guess I should've fired myself first from delivering this atrocity upon thee. By the way, I love the name, Hunter. Wanted to name my daughter, Hunter but kept having boys. Keep bringing the dis. DJ BBQ- The Kitchen Clown

Hey LDFunk, cheers for the positive comment. I really appreciate it. I don't get people who throw the hate. Grandma always said, If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. I'm cool with a bit of criticism. that's healthy. This Hunter cat doesn't know me so how can he call me fake. Thanks for speaking out. You Rule!

I agree, the bad jokes and extreme delivery many of the TV chefs do is irritating, unoriginal and mostly fake. It's like a clown act they are doing. Some producer tells them to get wild & crazy, it will boost our ratings, LOL I prefer Anthony Bourdain over the kitchen clowns like this guy.

Fun videos, but this video is a great example of why food shows hire writers. You keep using other people's buzz/action words, and it sounds lame, not hip, yo! that bad boy, bam! boom! , etc. yawn. Drop the Emerel and diners & dives lingo and be orignal man!

hahaha, I don't always where the spandex. It's just for a bit of fun. If you check out the Brisket recipe. there's normal clothes and no yelling. Well, I do a Macho Man Randy Savage impersonation. Maybe you shouldn't look at that one. I can't win, here.

Inventing stuff completely new? If you are British, perhaps next time you are in London you can explore the dozens of cafes where Indians and Jamaicans have been making ketchups & chutneys with banana for over 50 years!

In some parts of the world they use Banana Ketchup as the sauce on pasta. It even out sells catchup in places like the Phillipines. I think. Didn't even think about using it as a pizza sauce. Good call myvirginkitchen!

Sorry, dont drink coffee! BUT WHY. must all good food come in a screeming and often with NOT funny jokes? I could pay your plan ticket to get you to my home for my 50-birtday. But. without the spandex?
