DJ BBQ can you please do a video on cooking pulled pork in an oven. I am a bit broke so can't afford to buy a BBQ (as in really broke) but I do have an oven. Do i need to add a tray of smoking wood in the bottom of the oven, or what. Second thought that sounds dangerous. WhOOooo!

If you have access to an oven you could do this. It's way easier as you just set the dial and let it slow and low cook. 60 inch smokers come from trees? I thought that's where Spaghetti came from. youtube. com/watch? v=l7yJ8C5TbeY

When my family smokes meat in the oven, we use moistened wood chips (soaked overnight) in a foil covered pan with enough water to just cover the bottom. This creates grey smoke without much of the sooty side effects

Wanna secret? Mix yogurt and spices, rub it and leave for 12 hours. Wash it and apply spices again. Yogurt gets in between the protein structure and penetrates the meat better than anything: )

I'm just about to build a new firebox to support the minion method. I haven't seen the Minion method used on the regular Kettle BBQ just the Weber smokers. Now, you've peaked my interest.

DJ why do you go so light on the rubs? I saw you do that with the brisket. Hell make a lot of that stuff and cover your meat your taste buds will thank you for it I promise.

Sorry my man, no disrespect intended, but you seriously need to sharpen up your hatchet skills. You look like you're gonna break a finger nail or something. XD
