Great flavour mix but. how much pork are you planning to rub with those tablespoon proportions resulting in about a kilo of powder? Haha! Wanna see you rub this on a WHOLE spit-roasted beast. Do it, DJ. I have faith in you. Awesome work.

You can, but I tend to use about 6 ingredients on the ribs. Smoked Paprika and Cayenne Pepper being two of the important ones. Baste the ribs first in american yellow mustard then apply the rub. We will do ribs soon.

Dude, I've been using this on Chicken and it's amazing. Last night, I used in the a chilli and it was the best chilli I've ever done. Just add two tablespoons of cocoa powder or some dark Chocolate to the mix

You can do whatever you want but the reason I use the dry rub is to create a bark on the Pork Butt. Buuuut, when I'm doing the Bacon Fire Bomb, I use fresh garlic and Onions in the filling.

I've been doing a similar rub (no clove or onion powder, and adding some oregano and thyme to it. Really adds a nice herbal flavor and mellows out some of the heat.

Want to try this but the cloves scare me. I tried a spaghetti sauce recipe once that called for a 1/4 tsp of ground clove and it was just over powering.
