Please welcome Thuy from with her traditional Pho Ga recipe made even more healthy for the new year. A whole chicken cooked in spicy, fragrant broth served with soft rice noodles, shaves of spring onion and a whole lot more

I am sorry but pho with fried shallots? No thanks. Please if you call it traditional, then don't add the non-traditional ingredients and call it traditional. Fried shallots kill the taste, both Northern or Southern style of Pho has zero fried shallots. Please eat again in Vietnam if you really want to use the word TRADITIONAL.

I don t know what region of Vietnam you or your parent s were from, but I have never seen people eat Pho Ga with the fried onions like that. Also, that amount of green onion is insane. It would be more traditional to eat with a side bowl of white onion soaked in white vinegar, water and sugar.

Please, you don't need to put the chicken inside that long. you just need to boil it up for 10 mins then turn off the heat and let the chicken stays in the broth for 15 - 20 mins then take it out. As you can see the meat is nearly shredded when cooked for 1. 5 hour.

Ahh, I just wanted to know how to correctly pronounce my favorite pho ga and ended up watching this video. Wow, her love for this dish to perfection is amazing. I find her voice and British accent so soothing and relaxing. :) Definitely two thumbs up!

Excellent video. You were very clear and seem very passionate about your cooking! I've been afraid to take the homemade pho plunge, but I've since added your video to my food playlist and shall give this a go this week. Cheers!

presentation is way too westernized, never seen a bowl of pho that looks like that. lacks cloves and cardamom. but everybody has his twist his turn on pho. only thing that matters is that it's yummy for the person that eats it!

This is a very interesting way to prepare pho. My parents own a Vietnamese restaurant in the US, specifically Seattle, WA, and their incredible pho is prepared quite differently. Her recipe looks delicious though!

This dish is good. Although, I want to point out here that that is not Thai basil, it's sweet basil. Thai basil and sweet basil have very different taste and smell and you shouldn't substitute for one another.

What a clever cook this charming young woman is? - she obviously knows what she is doing and who could resist her delicate food? - Not me! - Sold! - Pho Ga' for me tomorrow night avec mes amies Francaise.

I don't know why but I found her voice annoying, like the person who lost her vocal from screaming all the time and now left with only half of her voice. But the food, I am sure it's delicious
