I hate to say it, but I don't have that much confidence in the cooking skills of these 2 beautiful ladies. Why did they not even bother toasting the walnuts beforehand? I think more could be done to make the sauce a lot more flavourful. Their (too) simple recipes are great for people who don't have time to cook, but I don't they would resonate well for those who are a lot pickier.

We use full cream (none of this reduced fat rubbish) Creme Fraise instead of cream in our cooking. It gives a piquant taste, a bit of a mild acidic taste adds to all the cream requiring recipes.

wow girls, this reminds me of your other recipe with walnuts and sage, that was fantastic, loved it and I have a feeling that this one will be as good and fantastic as the other was!

A li'l nutmeg would work as well I think. I donno. may be I should try it. but then minus the pepper. and substitute with almonds. :) sounds really easy and lazy. :P
