Awesome! I've seen the Pork Ribs episode. looks delicious, but like I said, it's not the preparation I was looking for. I want the meat to almost fall off when you flick the bone. The marinade recipe in the pork ribs video is actually close to the marinade I make. only I don't use cumin but star anise. and I use Indonesian soy sauce for 'the glue'. but that does make them really sweet, I'm gonna use mustard next time!

Great video, My first for the DJ BBQ and i look forward to more. Growing up my dad did just about the same thing but with Flank steak and eventually using Skirt too. The funny thing is back when our parents were buying the steaks they were the cheaper cuts atleast compared to ribeye ect. but they knew it had better flavor. Now Skirt is the same price as the nicer cuts. Not many things better then the crispy end cut.

Nice Video - #DJBBQ - Wiki: Italian dressing is a vinaigrette-type salad dressing consisting of water, vinegar or lemon juice, vegetable oil, chopped bell peppers, usually sugar or corn syrup, and a blend of numerous herbs and spices including oregano, fennel, dill and salt. Onion and garlic can also be used to intensify the dressing s flavor. Consider Making your own a fresh and home grown/made is best! #tasteit

Dear Mr. BBQ. :) Tips and tricks on how to make sure ribs are really tender and how you make the meat almost fall of the bone. I've 'created' a good tasting marinade and my meat gets pretty tender. but I just can't get it to almost fall off the bone like proper ribs should.

An awesome request. The ribs video I've done for food tube are super tasty and tender. I actually like a bit of bite on my ribs. But I also know people like the ribs to fall off the bone. We did some last week that did just that. I'll talk to the crew and see if we can help ya.

Had this basically every Friday all summer long, minus the Italian dressing (will have to try that. This cut is AMAZING. It definitely tastes different and might take some getting used to, but it's well worth it. I'd take this over any other kind of steak any day.

DJ BBQ, when you say those skirt steaks needed 6 1/2 minutes a side, that has to be an editing mistake right? I bet you meant to say 3 minutes a side for about 6 1/2 minutes right? There's no way you could get any pink in a skirt steak cooking it for 13 minutes.

Okay I know I'm late to the party, but made this today after seeing your more recent steak taco video and it was phenomenal. It was succulent, juicy beyond belief. Just a quick question for DJ, do you remember the name of the song in this video?

Heard you talking about this recipe on the UnitedQ podcast awhile back. Tried it out this evening, but I used flat iron steaks instead, came out superb! Great recipe and great music. And remember, it does taste much better if you smile!

I totally should've let the marinade drain off. This was the 5th recipe of the day and I was a bit punch drunk. I only made more work for myself. My bad, Wheatbeerlover. You are on it and I apologize for my lapse in judgement.
